I was expecting a bit higher hopes for this but its still good for what it is! The beef is more pot roast flavor and texture with some mild spices but like less than jalapenos spice level! The consume broth is very good! Its a thick beef broth and has a umami taste but needs alittle salt! The cheese in the taco is tasty too! I was overall happy with this! I had about 3 tacos to be full.

I actually really like these! I ended up baking mine at 375 for 10 minutes and then dipped them in some of the consomme and pan fried them until crispy... and dipped them in the remaining consomme after. They were great! maybe a little too much cheese for my liking, but pretty bangin' otherwise!

they taste great but not like birria at all. the console tastes like chili, the ones I received were filled generously with cheese, veggies and the meat.

Let me start by saying this is not a bad taco, but is NOT a birria taco. Price wasn't bad for 6 tacos and sauce. 3 birria and consomé are about $11 where I live. 3 stars bc they don't taste like birria, not bc they're bad. Pros: They're quick. The price isn't bad. The flavor is okay. The consomé is good over grits, white rice, or mashed potatoes. Cons: They're not birria tacos. The cheese tastes like sliced american cheese. The cheese flavor overpowers the other flavors. You need the consomé. There's not enough meat. The shell reminds me of taco bell gordita. They should've been called Philly cheesesteak tacos with consomé. The name would fit better. I've never had birria with peppers and onions. I would buy them again if they were on sale or if i was in the mood for a philly taco!

These were okay but I will not buy again. Way too much cheese and not enough meat. This was more like a quesadilla or Philly cheese steak taco definitely does not have that authentic burria taste and sauce was just okay.

have you bought frozen burritos and been disappointed with not enough filling. this is exactly that. Definitely not authentic. no flavor. not enough meat. most calories are from cheese and tortilla. sauce was really thick and mild to no flavor at all. wont be buying again. doesn’t look anything like the photos. there was litrally 1 small wedge of pepper and onion in the taco. lol. costs $1.75 per taco. thats more expensive than local taco shop and they give more meat.

I can’t say I was a fan. My family loves birria tacos, but these just did not fulfill our expectations. I won’t be buying again. I know some people like that but if you’re a true birria lover, this won’t do. They had small pockets of beef and the vegetables were just too big of a cut. Also, the cheese is overwhelming, and taste like craft American cheese, which does not belong in a birria taco

Tacos are ok, nothing special. I heated them in the air fryer, and they came out nice and crispy. The consommé tasted nothing like ones I’ve had in the past with birria tacos. It was thicker and tasted more like Taco Bell mild sauce with a kick. Not impressed and will not be purchasing again.

The packaging and pictures are both very misleading. These are really the size of about street tacos and should be labeled as such, and there is about a teaspoon of meat and a few sprinkles of cheese in each. Half the package / box is taken up with the consommé packages inside. Definitely the most misleading product at Sam's. Highly, highly disappointed!

Plain and simple, the tacos are NOT Birria, and the Consommé is just regular taco seasoning in oil. It is extremely gritty, and does not taste good. If these were marketed as just quesadilla bites or something, I would recommend them because of how cheesy they are. As of now, and under their current label, I cannot recommend these at all.
