Clear picture

This 85 inch tv was delivered to out door by Sam’s Club and we love it. I thought it would be too big, but it’s not. We have it sitting on a credenza and it’s perfect. Remote is easy to navigate and picture is clear. You do need two people to lift. We are very happy with the purchase of this TV at Sam’s Club and recommend it.

This is really huge, and heavier than previous TCL TV's. The picture quality is fantastic but you will need a soundbar or BT speakers. The built in ones are terrible. The sound is like it's coming from deep down inside of a box. GREAT PRICE. Speakers are very rarely good on big screen TV's anyway.

My living room has a lot of natural light including a window directly across from the TV. I saw the commercial with Justin Herbert talking about how this TV "pops in the sunlight"and "every seat in the house is the best seat in the house". I had a TCL led previously. the glare was noticeable so I thought I'd try this. It's a little better, but I don't feel like the picture is as good. Especially when there are dark colors or black. Everything is blurred with darker colors. It's a crisp picture, but not as bright and vibrant as I was expecting. I noticed it immediately after switching, the picture just wasn't as vibrant. I'll get used to it so it is what it is, but definitely a little disappointed.

I would purchase it again

For what we wanted.... the TCL works great. I had purchased another TV before this one and it did not have a Digital Autio output. This TCL does. It also has 4 HDMI ports. FANTASTIC. The picture is very nice. My previous smaller 75" TV was an 8K and that picture is Awesome. This is a very good TV and has all the ports one would want. The only real nuisance is the fact that it constantly wants to start with the Audio attachment instead of the TV. I have an extra audio headset for my father who is def and it wants to attach every time. I use the home button work-a-round. So not a deal breaker.

nice tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice tv, I had an older sony that I replaced this with. Does have better blacks but there are SO many settings its kind of overwhelming. Just wish they had a dummy mode setup that you could just click and be done with it. So much hype about this tv I was really expecting more of a difference from my older sony but really, its not that big of a thing. Blacks are better, I will give it that and depending on the movie, the colors pop more.

3rd One The Charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd 98” mini LED in 30 day, first was broken and did not work, Second one worked and then the motherboard went south after 10 days and it would not recognize the HDMI ports. Hopefully, this one lasts. If not, I'm done with TCL. With that being said, the color and picture are unparalleled.
