I almost cried when I opened the shipping box. The carton had come apart. It looked as if there was little to no material to support the carton while shipping and it had come apart. Some the little cups holding the oranges had lost their lids so the shipping box was a mess of fruit juice and orange segments. I salvaged what I could and the cups to get rid of the sticky juice. Altogether a disappointment. But the oranges I saved were excellent as usual.

Both flavor and texture fail to meet the high standards of the name brand version, but it's okay and perfectly edible. Less fruity sweetness and lots of pieces rather than full sections of fruit. If it wasn't significantly cheaper, I wouldn't even consider it, but for the price, it's a good deal.

The product was fine. However, the box was damaged in shipping so some of the cups had opened and leaked all over. I had to wash off each cup and throw away 3 cups due to leaking. Sam's Club service center shipped out another box, free of charge, within a few days.

I’ve bought a case of these many times for our office and home and they are wonderful for adults and children alike. They can be eaten out of the container at shelf temperature or refrigerated. We frequently need light snacks for clients and these are very helpful to reduce hunger while still being nutritious.

Local club do not stock this item. So ordered on line and twice order came in damaged. True it not clubs fault for damage but if it was packaged correctly it would not have been damaged. Called and they said they hadno control over packaging. Had to go to Walmart and pay a lilmore for same thing.

Great alternative to the name brand. I had a box of each (Member's Mark and the name brand sold at Sam's) and these were better quality this fall. Usually the off-brand mandarin oranges are lower quality and not worth the lower price at the grocery store, I was pleasantly surprised!

I love the taste. I prefer fresh, but sometimes even though the bag says they are sweet, they may not be. These are always sweet. They are sweeten with fruit juice (according to the package). I like to put them in the freezer till they are almost frozen. Plus, for me, that makes them easier to open because if they are just cold, when you open the seal, some of the juice spills out. . .but maybe that's because it takes a lot for me to pull it open and I might end of tilting it a bit. OH. . and they are great in a milk shakes.. if anyone remembers the ORANGE JULIUS place that had orange shakes.

My 7 year daughter has been on a mandarin orange kick lately. We'd been buying them from a different grocery store, and they were delicious (still packed in juice). So I decided to buy from Sam's to save some money. My daughter finished her cup, but said she didn't want to eat them anymore because they taste like medicine. She's not wrong.

We ordered this once before without a problem, but unfortunately this time, one of them opened up in the box making a big mess inside. Thankfully it didn’t soak through the box completely or get into the other items in the larger delivery box. Wouldn’t mind picking up in the store to avoid this problem, but I haven’t seen it available at my location. Otherwise, we do like the taste and value with this box.

More liquid than I’d like but no sucralose which is important to me. I love these for snacks and for a salad topper, I use grilled chicken, mixed salad greens, mandarin oranges, almond slivers, dried cranberries and a creamy poppyseed dressing, the portion is perfect for a salad for one. These little oranges are the same quality as name brand and a much better value.
