[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver heads trim my whiskers closer than any other electric razor that I can remember. It is also very easy to keep clean.

The product gives probably the best shave of any shaver I've ever had. It is let down considerably by poorly designed head that allows the inner edges to catch on skin (especially on a chubby face) and flip out of place. I get this maybe twice every shaves. Also, who on earth said let's give the outer edges a squared off, thick (thicker than the inside edges) profile that prevents access to the nasal area like the previous models allowed with ease. I love the shave quality. I hate the ergonomics!

The shaver is nice. I’ve been using Norelco triple-header shavers since the 1980’s, and I prefer them above other brands. My main complaint with Philips is that the new models are underpowered. Still, I like the features of this shaver, and the cleaning pod is an excellent addition. The app is crap, something they slapped together because somebody in marketing decided they needed an app to constantly nag the user to buy more products. The upside is that you don’t need the app to get the benefits of this great shaver.

Many electric razors claim as close as a razor blade. This shaver does 99.9% close I’ve had many foil type electric razors in the past. This one here from Phillips Norelco is the best. I also like the fact that it does not make much noise Other foil type razors. I’ve had you can’t even hear your phone ring practically when you’re shaving. Cleanup is easy. And it doesn’t get hot like other electric razors can. I have used it with and without a lotion to help shaving better and it doesn’t seem to make much difference. No hot spots on my face either.

Quick Smooth Shave! This is great for those times when you’re rushed. It did a wonderful job when I used it to shave! I’m not sure about using it is with shaving cream!

I have owned and used Norelco razors for over 40 years and this 7000 series gives a nice close shave. But it take more time and more passes over my face to get the nice shave. My old 6000 series did just as good and much faster when it was newer. This razor has too much surface around the heads to get close to existing facel hair like mustache or goatee. I've been using this razor for 2 weeks. The program they want you to use is for new user and it's not that great because not all faces are the same.
