[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a blade, whether it was a disposeable or a safety razor. Any time I used an electric it never felt like my shave was close enough. This electric with the wet feature has changed my mind. I put on shave cream, shave, and the result is very much the same as my blade but with much less effort. I would have to use the blade carefully against the grain. My shave now feels as if I have shaved against the grain and without any skin irritation. I am very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 1st electric razor I have ever bought or used. So I don't have anything to compare it to. It is OK. I was expecting a little less looseness in the razor head section. And a more rapid blade circulation overall. The razor does give you a smooth shave but I still find myself touching up afterwards with a regular manual razor blade. And I am still learning the right and wrong way to shave with it. I guess if I had a little more experience and shave more frequently my review would be different and I would probably be more satisfied. But with saying that I go several days without shaving at times and thus razor doesn't do well with longer facial hair. Anyway I give it a solid 4 to 4.5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the performance of this shaver. It only needs to be recharged after 10-14 shaves. It gives me an incredibly smooth shave, almost as good as a razor blade. The device cleans up easily too, by simply running water over the blade assembly. The fluid cleaning reservoir is also very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how the self sharpening works, but it is a nice feature!! I do wish that Norelco would angle the shaver head a little more downward. When i was using the 5000 series, the way it was angled is about where the 7000 series should be. Also, i would love for Norelco to make a pre-electric shave lotion/liquid "Roll-On" bottle. The "Roll-On" botte would allow you to put it directly on your face, gently...squeeze the bottle to make the contents hit your face then the light yet hard you squeeze, and "Roll" the bottle all over your face it would apply the lotion vs having to put the lotion in your hands and splash it to or on your face. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was concerned I would not get the close shave that a razor provides. I was wrong. This shaver gives me the same close shave. It is quiet, comfortable ,and holds a charge for weeks. With the high cost of razor blades, this is a great value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver is quite long and takes up space in a bag. But the main comment I have is that the shaving head is too large. The cutting heads could be a little closer together. The area around these heads (shown in blue on picture) is too large - it is difficult to get to hairs growing out of a nose. The space in the center or the heads grabs my skin which is annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the shaver for 3 or so weeks. Since the blades are sharp things are going well. My last norelco lasted almost 50 years with me changing blades every year. Nothing will ever match the old time life expectancy. Hey, this works and it is easy to hold. My last shaver had the blades that moved. This one has the entire head moving with the blades locked into one position. I don’t actually see the difference in the shave and that is a good thing so overall I’m happy with my purchase I did not get the fancier more expensive model since I did not need the extras that did not affect the shaving requirements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had recently purchased another brand of scalp electric razor and it lasted a little over a month and then stopped charging. I bought this as a replacement for that and wasn’t really sure how it would do full face and scalp. With the 3 pivoting heads it works great. Close shave and no razor burn. I do open the shaver and clean the heads using the brush, but also use the cleaner also. Easy to use as well. Takes 3 minutes to do full face and scalp.

My 7000 series Philips Norelco wet and dry electric shaver which I recently purchased has exceeded my expectations. I use it as a dry shaver and it does a great job.
