Shave still pretty good even when they get old, but I bought the 7000 and it works very well. Whether it is that it is sharper or newer technology I don’t know, but I get a very clean shave, very quickly. I do not have to keep going over my face as I did with my old.

My experience is very different … it does not cut each hair close nor does it glide smoothly. It is a heavy shaver (compared to others), and the trimmer scratches without successfully trimming my sideburn. I need to go over my face several times before getting anything close to a smooth shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several rotary shavers and this is the first one that performs better dry than wet. The material around the shaver assemblies makes it a little more difficult to get close to obstructions, such as a nose. Otherwise, battery and motor are powerful enough. Heads are sharp enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this razor! I shave in the shower with a little shaving cream and it is perfect for that. When I am done my face feels as smooth as if shaved with a blade, but no nicks or cuts! The razor let's me know if I am using the best motion. And best of all it is always clean because it is waterproof and I can clean it daily.

I get a better shave with a dull razor. It runs very slow and requires multiple runs around your face. I would return it but I threw out the box.
