incredible vacuum and even more deal on an actual Dyson.. assembly was a breeze

Highly disappointed. Purchased for use on carpet. It is very heavy and hard to push on even the thinnest carpet with its lowest suction setting. Have a much better machine that sweeps and mops hard floors. Only needed this for carpet which again is very low pile.

A lossing battle . The hose extension is a battle with trying to clean around the house . You are better off keeping it on the vacuum as a whole . The suction is so strong that rugs and carpet are a horrible work out. May i add the carrying is heavy !! It is 2024 this should be a better product .

Not really that great. Wheels get stuck and power isn’t well most of the time. Even after dismantling the machine.

this vacuum works great on tile and hardwood. Does not work good on carpet. It has too much suction and there’s no way to turn the suction down.

Super machine at a great price, just sorry I waited so long to buy one. The Dyson hand held electric is also great if you have pets

Worst vacuum I've owned, despite being among the most expensive. Purchased this new and within weeks the on/off button stopped working. Sent it back to Dyson for warranty repair, which they confirmed was received by their warehouse on December 10th. It's now 2.5 months later and haven't heard a word. Reached out to Dyson customer service and they acknowleged having it in their possession but couldn't provide an ETA for repair. Absolutely insane. I will NEVER purchase another Dyson product again in my lifetime. I should have learned my lesson from past Dyson vacuums that all had their own issues. There are several other brands out there that perform significantly better than Dyson for a fraction of the cost.

My almost 20 year old dyson ball recently died. I purchased this thinking I'd get another nearly 20 years out of a Dyson product and I can now say, with certainty, this new one will likely less than 5 years. The good - nice long cord and the vacuum seems to be very powerful The bad - my god, the horrendous smell of plastic is overwhelming. I had to take breaks using it. It's bitterly cold or I would've set it outside and opened the windows to use it. The quality is abysmal. It feels like a toy made for a child and not a nearly $400 vacuum. The fact that you just yank it down instead of a floor button to release the handle should tell you all you need to know about the quality shortcuts. I'm trying to decide if I should even bother trying to return it now that I've used it. I'm beyond disappointed and shocked that this is rated so highly. Buyer beware, Dyson is not longer a company known for its quality.
