They do feel like material more then a diaper feel. But all in all it does what it is supposed to do. Just wish they were a little more thin.

My elderly mother experiences incontinence so I gave these to her to try. She is a size 14 and about 5' 3” tall. Immediately she told me she didn't like how it felt. The back of the brief felt like it would ride up, so she felt like her buttocks were exposed. She also felt that the bottom pad was way too long and bulky for someone of her stature. She did not feel that this was something she could wear discreetly in public. Overall she felt that this might be a better fit for someone who is taller, or prefers a roomier fit.

Pros: the thought of having an extra layer of protection, especially when I know I won't have immediate access to a restroom (e.g. road trip, long flight, hiking day trip) is extremely comforting. The brief is super light weight and can be folded down to maintain discretion. It really controls odor and can withstand accidental leaks and minor bladder emptying without soiling your pants or leaving noticeable wet spots. Cons: Wears more like an adult pull up. The brief bunches up really bad in the front the moment you put it on. Conversely, it rides up really bad in the back - almost like a thong panty. The briefs are not individually packaged which makes traveling with them interesting. They do fold flat and fit well in a quart size or larger plastic bag. Overall I feel the Always Discreet brief left me with a bit to be desired. I love the sense of security the product provides but was not pleased with the incessant bunching and diaper butt it gave.

They bunched in the crotch area and would be visible with tighter fitting clothing such as workout gear. Every time I moved, I could hear the rustle of the fabric which made me self conscious. As soon as I took it out of the package, it screamed diaper. The package makes it look like more of a panty fit. This one is a no for me.

They are very stretchy and fit well without showing through clothes. Liquid is turned into gel, so my mother-in-law was able to sleep through the night without leaks. The cute little bow on the front helps us easily see if she has them on correctly. This underwear improved her quality of life.

Still not sure about that per the size guide I should be on the small end of L based off weight and measurements but this was too big & a size down should have fit better. Glad this had no noticable scent to it. Too bunchy in the crotch area. Though it was overall confortable theres this extra, thin part of it by the back that was loose and airy and it made the fit on my booty feel too loose and like my cheeks were hanging out. I didn't have any issues with leaks nor did I notice it make any noticable sound when moving around which is good. Kept odor away also. It's average, nit great, not terrible, & is making me wonder if the sise down, M, would have been more to my liking. You get a lot in the box also!
