It creates much LESS dust, which I really appreciate, especially when cleaning the litter box. I like how well it controls odors. I have 3 cats, so good odor control is very important in my home, and this litter does a much better job at keeping things fresh.

The litter forms solid clumps that are easy to scoop. The main downside is that it can be a little dusty when pouring, and like most clay litters, it can track outside the box a bit. But overall, it's a reliable option if odor control is one of your top concerns.

The packaging is sturdy and easy to store, and I appreciate that it doesn’t rip or spill everywhere when opening. The texture is just right not dusty and not overly coarse so it’s comfortable for my cats and cleaner around the box. It’s very scoopable, forming tight clumps that don’t fall apart, which makes daily cleaning quick and easy. Tracking has been minimal compared to other litters I’ve tried, and it doesn’t get dragged all over the house. Storage is simple too since the box stacks well and doesn’t take up unnecessary space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cat litter, wow 🤩 I just witnessed this today and I can honestly say: it is 100% odor control and I love that! With my regular brand the odor would linger in the house for a while but that won’t be happening anymore thanks to Fresh Step Heavy duty Odor Block. Fast absorbing and clumping. I wish it was dust free but it is not, however, is less than my regular brand. The litter itself smells pretty good, not overpowering but just a nice fresh scent. Very good cat litter for my multi-cat house. Because of the great-strong clumping, I already know it’s gonna last longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already use Fresh Step brand but I had not tried this type before. I do not see a reason to swap to this type. I typically use the extreme scented and honestly I could not tell much of a difference at all. Fresh Step is great at masking odors. The first day this type seemed like it masked them less but a couple of days later I did realize there was not a strong odor any more. This was easy to pour even if it is a little heavy like most cat litter is. I prefer to buy them that come in the 4 pack of bags instead of the box because it makes them easier to lift and pour. It clumps great just like the other types I have used and makes cleaning the litter box as pleasant as possible. I think I was actually able to go a day or 2 more than normal with this type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Heavy Duty Odor Block cat litter from Fresh Step has tiny black crystals in it that make it smell like Febreze. It makes the room smell good. The box has a handle, which is very convenient. I like this cat litter. The only negative thin is that it creates crazy dust when i fill up the cat box.

The clay absorbs moisture, forming tight clumps that are easy to scoop. If you like fragrance & don't mind clay give this kitty litter a try. It's not completely dust Free. I prefer a non scented litter for myself & furbaby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty disappointed in this for one reason. It’s a cloud of dust anytime it’s touched. I really liked how it performed, and that the fragrance in it don’t scream “cat litter”. But the dustiness is so bad that I’m quite certain it’s not safe for cats to use. If it makes me sneeze, and feel hard to breathe just scooping it with all the dust, it can’t be any better for a cat that literally sits in it and paws it around to bury its business. I won’t buy again, and would never recommend this.
