The laxative usually works within about 6 to 8 hours if taking two it may work quicker if you take more than two at a time. No nasty aftertaste however, I did get stomach cramps right before the laxative started working. That was unpleasant. Also, when taking this laxative, make sure to drink a full glass of water.

Although I haven't had need to use these yet, the chew looks like it would be good and flavorful. These would work well for someone that has trouble swallowing pills.

Although given that a bag has about 15 soft shoes per the directions each two is an added 8 ounce of liquid and for adults would typically be 2 to 4 shoes. Either all at once or individual if needed. Was hesitant at first given that many of these chews tend to taste chalk like but this was decent.

It's supposed to provide relief in 30 minutes to 6 hours but I find prune juice more effective. The berry taste is ok but the texture is weird and grainy. I would not recommend or purchase.

( remember they are not candy) keep them high enough and out of reach of children. No stomach cramps or issues with surprises. Just a calm, easy experience. Take as directed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from occasional constipation, especially when I'm anxious or stressed, and I had the opportunity to test these Dulcolax soft chews that promise quick relief of up to 30 minutes when used with water, working naturally and cramp-free. I chewed 3 soft chews in the afternoon and they still only worked for me the next morning. I believe that it works differently on each body, but in any case it worked and I would recommend it. I couldn't fail to mention that the taste of these soft chews is pleasant to the palate.

The taste and texture is tolerable, I did notice kind of an odd aftertaste, but not bad enough to dissuade me from using if needed. I took half a chew in the morning and was able to go to the bathroom a few hours later. If you aren't able to take pills, this is a good option for you.

It smells like candies so it's good for kids. I also like the package since it's designed as a Ziploc bag. It's easy to store the chews and carry around.
