Gentle but it was effective for overnight results but dose says 1 chew 4 year old and up to 4 for an adult. Comes in a resealable bag and wrapped in a foil. Tastes fruity. They do have that artificial berry taste, it's not the best but it's doable. I do have to chew them for awhile before they start do dissolve. I wish they would dissolve faster. I would repurchase these because they actually work.
