It good except for one thing

All the details are great. The main figures look good but the one thing I had problems with was the ropes that you had to put around the car it was very hard for me to do that.

Very cool

This set is very cool, and while I don't agree with the choice of piece for the windscreen, it looks 1000x better in person than on the box and in promo photos. Two minifigures is a bonus! Plus the ability to change to flying mode and switch between (2) movie versions. I am vehemently opposed to the crazy price increases that speed champions has been going through, but the quality does continue to improve and this is certainly no exception. The value is even better here too, considering the extra figure and all the extra and printed parts.

bad experience bad pieces

this set is a good start but removing the most iconic doors from the car is crazy, they did the doors with the rest even the tiny one but not this advanced model. Marty looks older than he should be! rebuilding the wheels just to get it to fly is stupid and not including a few extra parts to remake part 3 is OUTRAGEOUS!! the original ideas one from 2013 is much better and the pieces in this set come off easily and I lost the blue electrical thing and MR FUSION!!! BAD SET

Room to improve

This complex build fillied my day. I liked the attention to detail, except some missing expected DeLorian traits. Side lifting doors should have set this apart from common cars. A posing stand to take flight is another desired option. But this heavy solid build was otherwise pleasing.

Crap lego

This Lego did not hold together very well. It crumbled while building it and wouldn’t hold together during play. Extremely disappointed in this product and it has me questioning Lego’s quality. My son bought it with saved up allowance, so that makes the disappointment even worse.

Wow. Just WOW!

Fairly new to the Speed Champions line, but as far as sets go in general, this one knocks it out of the park! Fantastic detail that just make the build completely immersive. If you’re even a casual Back to the Future fan, you’re gonna have “oh wow” moments every time you see a part of this amazing car come to life. Flux capacitor, time destination panel, the designers didn’t miss a trick. The Minifigs just add to the mix - Doc and Marty ride again!

Back in Time

It’s probably all been said by now. Great little set everyone’s been waiting for at this (Minifig) scale and price range. Nice build. Tons of printed pieces (maybe the most in any speed champs set to date?) Beloved nostalgia film. TWO minifigs (come on!) AND it’s a 2 in 1 (roll or soar). Slated to be one of the best sets of 2026 for good reason. On backorder & sold out almost everywhere (Jan 2026). Was lucky to get it at local niche retailer with a nice member discount. Fun, quick little build. Nice display piece. I set up the minifigs in the tv GWP from 2025 (I was secretly planning this all along!) There were some imperfections which I found to be forgivable at this scale and price point - and with production in high demand, something’s gotta give. Thanks LEGO for the fan service and love letter to BACK TO THE FUTURE / DELOREAN fans everywhere. “Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads!”

Great Scott!

1st built set of 2026 and it did not disappoint. First of all, some minifigure collectors will find the two iconic minifigiure includes in this set are well worth it. Building experience is fun and straightforward, minimal stickers (which is rare for Speed Champions) and printed pieces are always a plus. I know it's still early, but this is already one of the Top 10 for me this year. I adore the Speed Champions line and I cannot wait to what's in store in terms of movie theme (Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, F-1, Cars).

A dream come true

I have been building this car from my own pieces since I saw Back To the Future at 5 years old! I made this vehicle several times along with Marty, Doc, Biff and even the flying Train Time Machine… I’ve watched the trilogy maybe 30-40 times in my lifetime, I’ve seen every episode of the cartoon growing up, and I have the LEGO’s first version of this model (which is blocky and kinda bad.) I’m blown away by this excellent set. Don’t think, buy. If you like the movie. If you like real cars. If you love Michael J Fox and/or Christopher Lloyd. If you love Rob Zechmikis (directed Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forest Gump, and many other amazing including the BttF trilogy.) Buy this is if you love the eighties. Buy this if you love toys, cars, legos, etc. Buy this if you want a good value for once during these very inflation heavy times. But most of all…buy this because LEGO (good bless the designer) hit this one out the park with bases loaded at the end of a pennant series…Cubs win…against Miami??? Inside joke…) This IS the set of the decade, barely beating out the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 as my favorite set I’ve ever bought in my life! 3rd being anything Legend of Zelda! Remember: the future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one!

Very fun! But the doors…

I love the car and the price! Figures also look great. This was a very fun build, and looks amazing. I love how few stickers there were and how many pieces had the details printed on instead. Made it much more enjoyable. Please, do more of that! I so want to give this 5 stars, however they could have definitely made the doors open. That is one of the coolest things about the car along with the wheels moving horizontally, which was also not done. You need to rebuild for part II car. I feel like they could have figured out a way to make both of those things happen.
