This set is a really good for Back To The Future fans. It looks REALLY good with lots details with good figures and it's pretty reasonable priced (for a change). Even though I rate this set 10 out of 10, I have a few design complaints. First, Marty Mc Fly's head does not look good (but I was able to replace it). Also, Marty's pants are a bit too dark blue. My other minor complaints are that, even though I love the design of the car in general and how you can change the car from BTTF 1 to BTTF 2, I think that it should have the gull wing doors and that the tires should turn simultaneously. So, really great set for Back To The Future fans with a FEW flaws. (This review was written and the photos were taken by my 10 year old grandson)

I love building gigantic LEGO sets, but sometimes I just need something to fill a couple of hours. This set it perfect for that. It's a very clever design that includes a lot of detail from relatively few pieces. You can even change it from the DeLorean from the first movie to the one from the second movie with just a few piece swaps. It looks amazing and was a blast to build.

It's a much needed upgrade from the 2013 Ideas DeLorean, and I absolutely love it! I only wish Marty had his skateboard and the doors could open. But all in all, an awesome for any fan or collector. I hope LEGO follows suit with a new Ecto-1, another minifig-scale car we haven't seen since LEGO Ideas years ago. Even for Speed Champions, it should still include all four Ghostbusters, despite the usual one or two included figs.

I am a massive fan of the Back To The Future Series since I first saw them in the theaters. I have watched them way too many times to count. I also love Legos. So this was a great combination of things I love. It was a fun kit to build. I love the Doc and Marty mini figs. I love that the kit could be finished as the Delorean appeared in the first movie. Or it could be assembled in hover mode like it appeared in the second film. There was only one downside to the kit. No gull wing doors!!! I knew this when I bought the kit. I didn't think it was a big deal. I was wrong. Those doors are what made me fall in love with the car the first time i saw it. I really feel the kit should have been designed with those doors. It is still totally worth purchasing %26 building.

I'm a huge Lego collector and have many, many sets. This Back to the Future DeLorean is by far one of my favorites that I have had the joy of assembling. For a smaller build, it was extremely sturdy and heavy compared to other sets of its size. It even has cool and accurate parts for the dashboard and other parts of the car to make it stand out. I also like how it gives you the option to have the car sitting on all four tires or have the tires in a “hovering” position like it's flying Back to the Future!!!! Overall this is a fun and awesome build!!

An absolute excellent value…this LEGO set is packed with detail and genuinely transports you Back to the Future. The build is smooth and satisfying, easy enough to relax with, yet clever enough to impress even experienced builders. It looks fantastic on display and delivers that perfect mix of nostalgia and craftsmanship. Highly recommended…1.21 gigawatts of fun.

This set was really fun to build, and makes for a great display piece, at a reasonable price. It's not perfect though, the doors unfortunately don't open, and there's a small gap where the windshield connects to the hood. But overall, I would recommend this set to anyone who's a fan of the Back to the Future films.

Well I had to buy two so I could build two versions I want to display. First set was great no issues! How ever the second set I have a huge scratch on the windshield. I hope Lego can replace it. I think the clear parts should be packaged better and not among the other pieces to prevent this issue. Thank you I hope Lego takes this advice!

I was very excited to see this release, I was not able to get it first time around and was able to buy on the restock. I rated the set 4/5 because it has to be built separately to change into a flying car. Although is cool because it has two builds, I unfortunately can only display it one way. Other than that the set was an amazing build. I would include a step by step in the wiring instructions for the wires on the outside of the car. I originally tried fastening the one side of the wire and trying to fish it around the car and found it difficult, but then I fastened both sides of the wire and tucked it under in the middle area and found it much easier. A simple instructing showing that could help other builders moving forward. Other than those two things it was an amazing time as always. Please send me free Lego! Or any discounts possible!

i thought it would be more functiona after constructing it but it's just a Lego. bought it for the Nostalgia, it went together fine but I have Marvel comic themed Legos that are practically fully poseable and I thought it could have been engineered better for the money. Lego could have done a better job with the foldable Wheels rather than just two different options to build your pieces that make up the mirrors could have been better
