A classic!

Such a fun build! Really interesting components and, as my 3 year old says, it's “really fast!” Some parts come off while playing, but they're easy to put back. Love all the small details as an adult fan of Back to the Future!

I recommend this set to Back to the Future fans and anyone who just likes how the DeLorean time machine looks. The build features very satisfying techniques. You can tell the designers of this set put a lot of passion and attention to detail - there's even a movie easter egg in the instruction booklet. The minifigure-scale of the iconic DeLorean makes this set very playable while looking incredible. I only found two negatives: 1) Stickers are used for very visible parts, making it stressful to apply them correctly. 2) Cannot open the birdwing side doors. Still, these are minor negatives and the set is very cool.

"From 1985... ...to 2026." That's what the line says in the instructions. The Time Machine from Back to the Future is now the G.O.A.T in LEGO Speed Champions, over 40 years since the movie came out. Marty McFly and Doc Brown are really great characters, but that's not all. The build experience was awesome, and it has the coolest features, the iconic license plates, the interior featuring the "flux capacitor" and time calculator, and the best part, the sideways wheel design used for the flying version on the second Back to the Future film! But, one thing that's missing, why not a Part III version??

It’s probably all been said by now. Great little set everyone’s been waiting for at this (Minifig) scale and price range. Nice build. Tons of printed pieces (maybe the most in any speed champs set to date?) Beloved nostalgia film. TWO minifigs (come on!) AND it’s a 2 in 1 (roll or soar). Slated to be one of the best sets of 2026 for good reason. On backorder & sold out almost everywhere (Jan 2026). Was lucky to get it at local niche retailer with a nice member discount. Fun, quick little build. Nice display piece. I set up the minifigs in the tv GWP from 2025 (I was secretly planning this all along!) There were some imperfections which I found to be forgivable at this scale and price point - and with production in high demand, something’s gotta give. Thanks LEGO for the fan service and love letter to BACK TO THE FUTURE / DELOREAN fans everywhere. “Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads!”

Great set with alternate build. Now if only lego would sell sets that are complete. The last 2 sets I've purchased are both incomplete. This set is missing the curve clear blue tile and a grill. Don't know why lego keeps selling new but incomplete sets. Oh by the way, the missing piece is not available via the replacement/request missing part 6585391 and the other missing part is 6051422

I love the car and the price! Figures also look great. This was a very fun build, and looks amazing. I love how few stickers there were and how many pieces had the details printed on instead. Made it much more enjoyable. Please, do more of that! I so want to give this 5 stars, however they could have definitely made the doors open. That is one of the coolest things about the car along with the wheels moving horizontally, which was also not done. You need to rebuild for part II car. I feel like they could have figured out a way to make both of those things happen.

1st built set of 2026 and it did not disappoint. First of all, some minifigure collectors will find the two iconic minifigiure includes in this set are well worth it. Building experience is fun and straightforward, minimal stickers (which is rare for Speed Champions) and printed pieces are always a plus. I know it's still early, but this is already one of the Top 10 for me this year. I adore the Speed Champions line and I cannot wait to what's in store in terms of movie theme (Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, F-1, Cars).

It was very playfull building this set, back to the future is my favourite franchise, but at the very end I come to the part where I miss piece (view the photos). When I enter the piece number to report missing piece it says that there are no pieces with that number.. Please LEGO HELP!
