They absorb a surprising amount and perform well throughout the day. If my bladder is completely full, I occasionally experience some leakage around the inner thigh area, but I've found that to be an issue with every brand I've tried. They did great and felt comfortable the time that I was wearing them. The leg openings were just the right fit, not too tight (I wear a 14-16 in pants). The absorbency is about the same as wearing a pad with just a little more protection, covering more in the back. These would be a great option for wearing during a road trip. One thing I would change about these, is having more of a breathable material in areas that are not covered by the absorbent layer, to add even more comfort.
