It has a soap scent. It made my hands very soft and keeps them from getting dry and cracked with regular use.

FORMULA CHANGED!!!!! I’m so sad!!!! It use to be thicker, it smelled fresher and was the only lotion I could put on without freaking out about the feeling/residue of fragrance on my hands and completely did what it was suppose to HYDRATE! The “New Formula” is more liquidy and cheap feeling.. PLEASE change the formula back I’m digging through shelves trying to find every last drop even in the travel sizes (crying face)

I have been using Gold Bond Healing Lotion for about three years and have loved it... until recently that is, when I noticed a big change in the consistency of the product and, more importantly, its quality. Whereas before, the lotion was thick and rich, and would leave my hands feeling deeply moisturized; it now feels thin and dries very quickly. In fact that drying quality is so 'good' that it leaves my hands feeling... well, dry. In essence, the lotion doesn't do its job.

I swear by this stuff. I put it on every time I get out of the shower. This keeps the skin so luscious and smooth especially with everyday application. It helps get rid of even really bad dry patches of skin! I use it mostly in the winter and sometimes in the summer as need be.
