Left at normal room temp and first use was nice and cooling, lasting me all day. The box it comes in is a bit flimsy and it took a whole lot of twisting before I got to a point of being able to use the product. But I can say, it doesn't just shoot mass amounts at you like some do. It's a slow but steady amount that was perfect for me.

I think I prefer the normal format only because I could see gel causing some waste in product but it felt good gliding on my skin and had a bit of a cooling feeling. I do feel that it helped with perspiration- I was almost completely dry after a workout class!

I sweat a lot and can sometimes deal with bad odor, so I save this one for my busiest days when I know I need extra protection. The gel formula goes on smoothly, it dries fast, and it never leaves white marks on my clothes, which is a plus! It keeps me dry and smelling fresh all day long, no matter how busy I get. The packaging is minimal and easy to use, and I really like that I can see exactly how much product is left! It's easy to twist up as well, it took a few extra clicks when I first opened it though, but that's expected. It feels cooling when applied, which I really like too, especially on really hot days.
