First, let me say that I absolutely love all of my Purple mattresses. The Purple mattress line is amazing but the sheets are clearly lacking in quality and comfort. The sheets are so stretchy that it's like sleeping in a sling shot. Unlike the mattress, the quality is extremely poor and I had holes after my first wash. The pillow cases do not stay put either. Do yourself a favor and skip the sheet set.

The Purple SoftStretch Sheets are fantastic! I liked them so much that I went and bought another set to rotate the colors. Their quality is great, and with proper care, show no signs of wear or discoloration. I've owned some expensive sheets in the past and the Purple sheets are by far the best on the market.

I thought the regular Purple sheets were great (and still do!), but these new SoftStretch sheets are wonderful! They are SO soft. I only ordered 1 set because I couldn't see how they could be that much better than the original ones, I WAS WRONG! Will be ordering an additional sets soon!

When the bed first came, I got it to the bedroom (challenging since I'm a small woman. But, got it unwrapped and on the platform with some angel help. Since the sheets had not arrived yet, I put our regular sheets on the mattress and slept that way for 2 nights. (The sheets came the next day after the mattress, but I was not able to put them on.) The 3rd night, with the purple sheet on the bed, I slept much better. I will say the bottom sheet is perfect for getting the best night sleep out of the Purple Mattress, and we both like the feel of the Purple sheets. I figure, if the sheets ends up pilling, I'll just shave the pills off. Or, guess I can contact Purple about that. At this point, I give the fitted sheet 5 (FIVE) stars. On the other hand, the top sheet doesn't work for us, as a top sheet. When I get up to the bathroom in the night, the sheet was often wrapped on me in such a way, I had to peel myself out of it. Then, when I'd get back in bed, I'd have to figure out where the sheet was. This is not altogether negative though. The sheet is so soft and pleasant feeling that I had a hard time distinguishing the sheet from my blanket. Yet, it is important to me to be able to get my bed cover layers on me straight. So, what I did was compromise with sheets, I use the Purple sheet on the mattress exclusively, and a regular cotton sheet for the top/flat sheet. This way, we don't get tangled, and we can identify and grab the top sheet as needed. I give the top sheet 3 stars for functionality as a top sheet, and 4 starts as a bottom sheet (since I have to tuck it in). Thanks Purple!

I want to be fair: The sheets feel amazing and I can attest to their function to enable the Purple Mattress 's technology. Their flexibility allows the mattress to provide the support where needed but more importantly work its magic at stress points. Right about two years, while still feeling soft and managing temperature, the sheets started getting holes in alot of places. Not in just " high traffic areas". My issue is I don't want to use any other sheets because as an engineer, I recognize the need to transfer the mattress's technology. But if the mattress is to last, let's say 20 years, at the sheets price I'm buying the mattress all over again in sheets. Disappointed. I hope this is not a testimony of how soon the matress will start to break down on me too.

I love my Original Purple Sheets, so I decided to try the New Stretch Sheets. I have a Easter King, so I ordered Cali-King sheets. The New Stretch are a little heavier than the original. They are not as cool to the touch like the original, but still good. It also was a bit tiff the first time to stretch them on my bed. The originals went on super easy & the stretch took a few try's before it worked. Other than that, I love them.

For the first time I have a set of sheets that stay in place. We have no bunching, movement or corners coming off with the fitted sheet. This set is soft and feels great to crawl into after a long day. This is our second set. One for home and one for the camper.

I have always been a cotton sheet girl. Love everything about cotton UNTIL I got my free purple sheets with my purple mattress. I will never sleep in any other kind of sheet again. I just ordered another set. I have and still continue to work hard and play hard and getting into this bed with these sheets is like coming home each night. Have tried numerous mattresses and sheets over the years and I'm now five shipping for the best. I found it. Thanks Purple!!!!! VR

This happened with the previous generation sheets as well - it is so stretchy and comfortable, but then starts to pill and becomes scratchy within 2-3 months. The sheets do keep you cool and fit the purple mattress well. However, I am quite disappointed, because the purple sheets are not cheap and I purchased them full price. Did not expect them to pill again, and so quickly.

After purchasing 5 Purple mattresses over the past several years, I can honestly say they are so darn comfortable that all my family and guests rave after sleeping on them. But the best of all are the Purple SoftStretch Sheets which make for an amazing night's sleep as well. Together they are a Perfect "10". I highly recommend them.
