It took a long time to puff up (72 plus hours). The mattress was too firm for me - had to add a three inch mattress topper to help with my hips and shoulders (side sleeper). Hate that I can’t sit on the edge of the bed to put shoes/socks on. No integrity/support at the edges like an innerspring mattress (especially at the bottom - be careful! Nearly busted my butt on numerous occasions!). Lastly, I found no heat relief from this mattress though I have been using a topper so maybe that negates my assessment. Hate the pillows (hard) and the sheets, while soft, are poorly made (loose stitching at the edges, hanging threads). Just saying - if you’re going to spend nearly a grand on a mattress. Good news is that it can be returned. Good chance I will be doing just that.

My husband and I are both thrilled with the mattress. My husband was very skeptical and it took him a week or two to adjust to it because we had a spring mattress previously. After a few weeks, he declared his love for it. We have very different sleep needs, so I was afraid that it wouldn't please both of us. I'm always cold; he is always hot - but somehow the mattress is perfect for both of us. I am a side sleeper while he's a back sleeper.

The foundation box was missing parts (middle support legs)! After two hours of trying to get the slats and the cover on the foundation - we flipped it on its side and tighten the Velcro! Also had to duck tape slats to the cover because they were warped and do not stay in place!

According to my Garmin watch I average 1h 3m deep sleep, 4h 46m light sleep, 1h 45m REM, and 6 minutes spent awake per night. I didn't have sleep tracking before buying a Nectar mattress, but it's comfortable so I presume it's helping. Also, since this mattress arrived I've cycled to the top of a mountain, done my first 5 and 10ks, and ran a half marathon. No telling the role Nectar has played in this, but good performance starts with good sleep. The dogs like it too, so much so that we bought the 75lb Golden his own Nectar mattress.

We followed other reviews and were attracted by the affordability of the Nectar mattress. We purchased the basic mattress and it has been great right from the start. The adjustment period that we were told to anticipate did not occur. I would say the mattress was medium firm as advertised.

I bought this for my wife's side. The 12 inches is nice thickness and does sleep well, but the edges are soft and lack the support when you get into and out of bed. I think over time it well not get any better. Also, It is lighter them the other one I purchased and the chemical smell was not as bad, which didn't take long to go away. This firmness is for more people that weigh less than 180 lbs. Still a good mattress for the price

I finally gave in and bought myself a new mattress. I love it so far! I also bought the linen head board and frame. The bed is wonderfully constructed. You can get in and out of it without bothering who may be next to you which in my case is my dog . The only thing I wish was that it was a few inches higher from the floor and that the head board was taller. I’ve had the bed for almost a month. I find myself trying to get into bed at early hours:grin: I say to every one that I need to get home to my nectar!

I bought this mattress because my husband and I were experiencing extreme back pain. In one night I woke up with no back pain and he no longer was tossing and turning in his sleep. We got the pillows and sheet set as well and my neck feels fully supported. A lot of other mattresses are either too firm or way to soft which overtime leads to a less supportive mattress. This mattress was built to support me and I’m never buying a different brand again :)

This mattress was comfy initially, but it was just way too soft. There is zero edge support, so if you get close to the edge it feels like you are going to roll off. If the edges were firmer I may have kept it but it was just not going to work for me and my partner, I need all of the mattress surface that I can get! I also sleep hot and this mattress did not help. I woke up sweating every night. If you're looking for a cool, firm mattress this is not it.

This is my 2nd mattress. Quality on this one is a little better than the last one. Took ~7 hours to “fill” out to shape. For me it’s the sweet spot between firm and soft. As a side sleeper I don’t have to worry about coils forcing me into an uncomfortable position. I can recommend if you’re looking for something like this!
