My husband and I shopped for a new mattress off and on for several years. There were so many choices, and we would get frustrated and just keep what we had. We finally just couldn’t deal with our old mattress anymore, and the aches and pains it brought. We tried Nectar first, fully prepared to send it back if we didn’t love it. The return policy seemed easy, so we went with Nectar, first. I keep saying first because we were fully prepared to try 4 or 5 different ones before we found one we liked. I am so thankful we were wrong! From the very first nights sleep, we both woke up feeling fantastic! No back pain. No headache. No waking up multiple times in the night, trying to get comfortable. This mattress is worth every penny, and I only wish we had done this years ago!

I bought the standard queen mattress about a year ago. The bed is not comfortable for me (way too firm although it felt soft at first?) but by the time I unwrapped it, it just seemed like too much of a hassle to return. I have regretted this decision ever since. I toss most of the night and my neck almost always hurts when I wake up. The pillows are unbearable under my neck but ok for under and between my knees (I guess this is why they're free?) The bed frame broke after about 8 months and now it's creaky every time I shift in bed. I also used Affirm for this purchase and ended up paying nearly twice the original price. I recommend just applying for a credit card instead.

My bed didn’t ship until two weeks after I ordered it with no forewarning. I was upset since I just had moved to a new apt. So I will be sleeping on the floor until it comes I know poor planning on my part for not having an air mattress but still they said it would be there in 5-7 business days I ordered it two weeks ago and now it’s finally shipping. I have slept on this bed previously so I’ll still give it a good review.

The mattress is rounded at the corners instead of a complete rectangle I believe it’s because of the packaging the bed is also very soft everywhere I sit ice sink in I don’t think it’s supposed to be that way even if it’s not firm it shouldn’t be a cotton ball LOL I need a new mattress that is not destroyed by packaging or out of shape

This thing has the be the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I purchased a new mattress to help with hip and back pain. That was a mistake. This thing has made my pain so much worse. And the pillows that came in the bundle have added neck pain to the list. I should have just purchased a topper for the old mattress. Good luck to those who purchase.

My husband and I switched from an American Beauty Matress to the Nectar base model. While this bed is firmer than I expected it is the right amount of firm. My husband would sleep on concrete and find it comfortable where as I like to sink into what I sleep in. This bed has been an amazing compromise. You do sink a little, but just enough to cradle you in all the right areas! I will say with standard high thread sheet counts the bed is a little on the warm side,, but the sheets i got from nectar keep the temperature just right!! I just wish they weren't white. We will be purchasing the twin sizes for our kids.

I bought a Nectar mattress because my old spring mattress wasn't cutting it and I always woke up with back pain. So I did my research and bought a Nectar mattress. For a month or so it was ok, then not great and now (2 years later) I wake up in pain every morning. I take care of myself with strength training and Yoga (as always) so I know my back it healthy. This mattress just doesn't work for me and I'm actively looking for another mattress.

We are about a month into owning our Nectar and we love it. It's very comfortable, soft but still firm and supportive. The ease of delivery was great, and it quickly expanded so we could sleep on it that night. The sleep bundle was also a great value - the sheets are so soft & we love the pillows! We now look forward to going to bed.

Just 3 days into my new nectar bed and I have slept like a baby! I use to toss, turn and wake up 2-3 times a night. It’s only been 3 days but ever since I first started sleeping on nectar, I have slept better then ever! I go to sleep in one position and sleep so soundly I wake back up it it again! This is by far the best investment I have ever made in my sleep!

TLDR: After 3.5 years I’m switching back to innerspring. Before the Nectar I had a soft hybrid mattress that gave me terrible back pain so anything was better than that. Nectar is ok, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just not for us. It’s more firm than I expected causing numbness in my shoulders (I’m only 120 lbs). But not firm enough in my hips so my lower back is not supported well enough and I wake up with so much tightness. When I lay on my back, my bottom dips into the mattress causing an arch in my back so when I wake up, I cannot bend over or squat down without so much pain. Interestingly, my big muscly boyfriend also gets numb shoulders and upper back from this bed so we have both become stomach sleepers on this bed and that’s why we’re throwing in the towel and getting yet another new bed. I will say setup was easy and I had no issue with that. I also feel like it greatly reduced motion transfer compared to innerspring! But it also gets much hotter and it’s just unbearable in the summer. And after 3.5 years, there’s a dent where we each sleep, so the lower back issue has become worse. After spending a week in a hotel with an innerspring mattress, I realized how bad the Nectar bed was for me. In the hotel I was waking up pain free every day even after an all-day hike. I loved this bed when I first got it, probably just because it was so much better than my soft mattress before, but maybe also it’s worn out quickly.
