We roast our own coffee and are pretty particular. Our roaster is broken so we're using other brands in the mean time. Is this the BEST coffee; no. But it is it really good for this price point; yes! I fully recommend it and hope Sam's keeps it around.

While this has the onyx name, I can see why they put it in tiny letters. This is not up to their normal standards and I wonder if they're distributing it through Sam's because it's a lesser product. The beans are the color of old dusty chocolate and the flavor is so bland it's barely coffee. I don't normally write reviews but this product needs to not be sold under the onyx brand. If Sam's wants to sell Southern Weather beans…you've got me! Otherwise, pass on this dud.

I grind and use from my French press coffee. Excellent and smooth flavor.

Good tasting and mold free! Decent price for mold free coffee

it smells good but is not strong enough, I tried one cup and even though it is expensive I won't be drinking any more of it. Trying to find someone to give it to (who likes very mild/weak coffee).

The absolute best beans ever! I have fallen in love with this brand and this coffee bean. I love it so much im panicked that Sams Club won’t offer it very long!

I've always been into specialty coffee, but I never thought I would be able to find Onyx Coffee Lab beans at the accessibility Sam's Club allows. I love knowing that these are not only delicious and premium, but also sustainable and fair trade!!! They really do put their coffee farmers first! Both a beginner to coffee and a seasoned specialty coffee drinker can get the same quality of cup since literally all of the helpful information is posted online.

I don't get it. It doesn't matter how much coffee I use, it just brews flat. The beans have a great aroma yes, but that's where it ends. They are also very light, dry beans and I feel it's $10 overpriced for what it is. I enjoy specialty coffee but this doesn't cut it. I'll try pressed to see if it gets better.

awful, very dry roast that is fruity and citrus forward, with a fair amount of bitterness, exactly what I don't want in my coffee. I tried it as drip and espresso, the later being not as bad... either way, I had to return it. For reference ,I typically enjoy any medium or dark roast from Starbucks, but to each their own.

This coffee bean is smooth
