We've enjoyed this medium roast coffee. We were out of coffee and during our Sam's run came across Doyenne's. It's a medium roast, very tasty and we would purchase it again.

The aroma of these beans lured me in as I passed by the display! Definitely a splurge, but makes a great cup of coffee. Onyx never disappoints.

I've always been into specialty coffee, but I never thought I would be able to find Onyx Coffee Lab beans at the accessibility Sam's Club allows. I love knowing that these are not only delicious and premium, but also sustainable and fair trade!!! They really do put their coffee farmers first! Both a beginner to coffee and a seasoned specialty coffee drinker can get the same quality of cup since literally all of the helpful information is posted online.

Nice medium roast cup of joe. Definitely priced higher than the MM brand, but its a big time specialty coffee brand and you get what you pay for. Please try to maintain at least one specialty coffee brand in stock at all times!

My husband is the one that drinks coffee. He says, “It's good but I don't like it as much as I like Airship Buffalo Blend blue bag. I like this Onyx coffee better than AirShip Fruity and Floral pink bag.” He only drinks fresh ground coffee.

I bought this coffee mostly because of all the positive reviews. We use a Chemex brewer and Chemex bonded paper filter for this Onyx medium roasted bean. We also have a high end coffee grinder and ground the bean medium coarse, just follow the instruction. The result is not as good as other beans we've used.

I don't get it. It doesn't matter how much coffee I use, it just brews flat. The beans have a great aroma yes, but that's where it ends. They are also very light, dry beans and I feel it's $10 overpriced for what it is. I enjoy specialty coffee but this doesn't cut it. I'll try pressed to see if it gets better.

awful, very dry roast that is fruity and citrus forward, with a fair amount of bitterness, exactly what I don't want in my coffee. I tried it as drip and espresso, the later being not as bad... either way, I had to return it. For reference ,I typically enjoy any medium or dark roast from Starbucks, but to each their own.
