The light is a nice soft blue light. It is larger than I thought it was going to be but makes sense based on it being a trap. The instructions were simple and is basically right ready to use! I like that this is a nice looking design for an insect trap.

I recently purchased the Stem Flying Insect Light Trap to tackle a pesky fruit fly issue. The unit is very quick and easy to set up,it took less than 30 seconds from opening the box to plugging it in. within 15 minutes, several fruit flies were stuck to the bait panel included with the light. By lunchtime,I no longer had a fruit fly problem. I will definitely be purchasing additional units and bait refills for future use.

I have four large breed dogs, and the doors to the house are opened multiple times per day in order to let the dogs outside to use the restroom. When the doors are opened repeatedly, insects make their way into the house, especially flies and gnats. I plan to use this product near the entrances to the home in order to help control the insect problem that we sometimes encounter. The product is easy to use and also provides a soft blue light when plugged in, which provides a nice night light. Within only ten minutes of having this product plugged in, I already had two gnats caught which is amazing!

I have used products like this in the past and found that they have worked well in my home. So far this one does a great job. I have tried keeping some fresh fruit around and it does seem to collect the flying insects!

Having used other plug-in insect catchers that were bulky and space-consuming, I was pleasantly surprised by Stem's compact design. I placed it in a corner near my kitchen sink to catch fruit flies and any other little critters. I love that it was easy to assemble and can trap insects of all sizes. It also doubles as a night light when getting a late night snack! Overall, I highly recommend the Stem insect catcher for anyone looking for a convenient and efficient solution to pesky insect problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fly trap works great. I haven't had any issues with flys since I have had it. I like how simple it is to use and it wasn't a bad price. I am looking forward to having this all summer when the fly's seem to multiply.

It's the same size, and color, so it's hard to tell the difference. I have many indoor plants and whenever I get a new plant from a store, it comes with gnats and eggs in the soil. This light trap is a perfect item to remove them. I highly recommend this product.

So I was excited to try out Stem's Flying Insects Light Trap to see if it would aid in the issue. The positives of the product are that it's people and pet friendly, insecticide free, easy to use and no odor or noise! I would recommend plugging the device in as close as possible to where you might normally see the insects, for me that spot was in the kitchen. It was really simple to set up and although I'm not expecting for it to catch every insect in my house, I do find it to be working! Will have to report back once I finish with the first cartridge but my experience has been all positive so far!
