Right of the bat it trapped one fruit fly that had been bugging me forever. I wish the starter kit came with more than 1 refill. Overall very satisfied with the product. The STEM Flying Insect Light Trap is very similar to the Raid insect light trap if you have tried that one, especially with the design and purpose of the product. There is one thing that sets it apart from the Raid light trap: The insert has a better handle to work with. I very much like that the nonsticky part extends past the device, making it easier to grasp when changing the insert or just checking the status of how well it is working. I have been a fan of the STEM products, especially their fruit fly trap. I have found that to be the best in capturing those pesky little bugs, so it will be interesting to see how this compares.

So far, I see no difference between STEM and other brands, but a big positive factor is the price! Overall, these products do a great job catching flies and such compared to just regular sticky tape. I'd recommend STEM solely from their competitive prices!

I also like that it is on always and does its job. It will be nice to have it in different nice fragrances. I took it outside to see its effectiveness and almost immediately saw tiny insects on it. I will leave it for some days in the house to see it in the house..Overall, I like the aesthetic look and design.

I installed the product in my kitchen where we have an issue in the spring with small gnats that are very annoying. The product is light weight and has absolutely no bug repellent smell. It looks nice with the blue insert and the light. Doesn't look like a bug trap. I am very excited to see how well this works once the weather gets warmer.

I find it difficult to find products that are pet safe, especially ones that deal with eliminating small critters. I do want to add the assembly was very easy, simply take it out of the packaging, peel the trap and plug it in. Easy enough! A cool bonus feature of this is it also acts as a night light!

I really like the Stem flying insects trap as it did catch some of the smaller flying insects buzzing around my home. It was really great for catching fruit flies so I keep it close to my fruit. It acts as a nightlight and best of all it doesn't have any chemical insecticides.

Was really excited to try this, we occasionally get a mosquito in the house from the door being left open. The fruit flies and gnats from the kitchen started getting on my nerves. I've had my light plugged in for the last 4 days and nothing. I moved it around my kitchen and still nothing. I see them flying around my house still even go near the light and they don't actually stick on to it. Very disappointed, we threw away the box so I couldn't even return it.

It is super easy to use and set up, and love that it is chemical and insecticide free. It is safe to use around pets and and humans so I never have to worry about my kids or pets around it.
