The uv light isn't notice when the lights are on and act as a nice night light when the kitchen lights are off. After an hour it picked up a few gnats and hopefully it continues to catch the annoying bugs until they're no longer a problem.

It's easy to use by just inserting the refill pad then plug in. It does not have any strange smells as well. I'm sure that It will take care of the bugs. It's the products I needed. I'd recommend it to any friends.

I have tried other Stem brand products with much success, so I was looking forward to trying this one . It works as advertised. It attracts fruit flies, gnats and other flying insects. I like the fact that it is insecticide free. The light is a soft glow light that also works well as a night light for the living room/kitchen area where I have it plugged in. I will buy refills and continue using it in the future.

It actually has a dual sided trap. Which obviously will attract and kill more insects, which I really like. My only concern was the sticky trap was a little tough to peel off the protective cover on each side. I had to be careful not to pull too hard so it didn't stick to me, but it actually wasn't too bad when I got the hang of it.

Other STEM products do take a bit to work but this one seems straightforward. I've plugged it into my kitchen and will leave it for the night and check the results in the morning

I used it in the garage becuse it handles things like insects that like to find our trash can in between trash pickup days.It also kills fruit flies.I love when you plug it in the blue light that pops on it makes it look fancy .and it's people and pet friendly so you don't have to worry about your pets .
