I have an electric bug zapper that works really well but also terrifies my dogs. Whenever I turn it on when I see a couple of flies they run out the dog door, tremble and shake or cower in the bathroom. (And that's even before it zaps a fly, just being plugged in does it.) I set up the device and plugged it in in my kitchen to see how it would work. A bonus for me, it's blue in color which blends in with my coastal blue kitchen! I like that it's a bug catcher that also doubles as a nice night light. Within 30 minutes of plugging it in, I've already caught my first fly! I'm hopeful that it will continue to be effective and look forward to using it instead of the scary bug zapper!

I have been wanting one of these for a while because occasionally we get fruit flies from produce. This fits perfectly above my fruit basket and works amazingly! Within 10 minutes of it being plugged in, it had already attracted and caught two fruit flies I didn't even know we had! One so glad I went with the Stem brand because their products are chemical free and safe for my kids and cat. I will be purchasing refills to keep this going!

I wasn't sure if this was the right product because I had not actually seen flying bugs in my home yet. After reading favorable reviews I decided to go ahead and try the Stem brand. With spring arriving I wanted to have something in hand in my home because the change in the weather often brings a lot of bugs in our local area. I am happy to have a chemical free option since I have a toddler in my home. It's also great not to have the normal bad odor of most bug sprays. The unit was easy to assemble and plug in and get started quickly. The ultraviolet light and sticky traps create a simple yet effective unit to trap flying bugs and make it easy to remove them from your home.

I like the ease of placing the refill and into the outlet. I would recommend this product if its near the floor but i did not like the fact that the dead insects fall near the outlet and gather. It’s pet friendly and safe for humans. The only thing I don’t like is that the front panel is clear, so if you have a lot of bugs or bigger ones, they would be visible through the panel. I wish that panel was either a solid (non-clear) panel or that it was only sticky on the back side of the card. But overall, I’m a fan!

I love that it basically can work as a nightlight as I have it in my kitchen where many flies seem to call home. It is also discrete and small to be out of the way with no chemical smell. What I don't like is that you can see the bugs when they land, another I have tried has basically a cover to hide them. I also don't like that it takes up a plug in where I have very little as it is.
