I really liked that STEM Flying Insect Light Trap is chemical and insecticides free because I have two kids and their safety is my priority. Fruit flies are very often seen in my house due to the amount of fruit we have, so STEM Flying Insect Light Trap is really helpful to attack those insects. Another thing that I liked about STEM Flying Insect Light Trap is how easy it is to just plug in any area of my house.

But it was an easy set up and simple instructions. I've used STEM products in the past and they work WONDERFULLY without the harmful chemical's usually found in "bug killing things". I really like that STEM is insecticide free! Since I currently don't have any flying insects I will have to wait to see how well the product actually works to trap them.

For best results, it should be plugged in next to the source of flies. It works incredibly well, and I appreciate that it is made without any harmful chemical insecticides, making it safe for kids and pets. Additionally, the modern design fits with any decor style and adds a nice touch to any room.

I bought this product because it said it is insecticide free and it was going to go in my kitchen around food products. I am using it to keep away fruit flies and it seems to be working. It has no scent to it at all which is great. The light is just a soft blue light not too bright and it's safe for my pets.

The blue light does attract the flies and other insects and it handily also works as a secondary night light in the room during the night. It's a device I can definitely see myself purchasing again especially as the spring and summer seasons are just around the corner and my niece and nephew will enjoy having it around in their rooms. The cartridge system the design is made with is also really well thought out, bugs will always be around, so it's nice to know that when the cartridge is all used up one can easily replace it with another. To use to the best of its effect place it near areas where you have noticed bug traffic and always on the wall, never on an extension cord or near the floor. It will pick up dust and lint instead of the intended bugs, and so your cartridge will fill up quicker than necessary. I definitely recommend it and I promise you won't be disappointed
