[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great product from STEM... The Flying Insect Light Fly Trap (starter kit shown) is another great way to take out flying insects without pesticides or smelly candles. Simply load the sticky pad refill and plug it in anywhere flying pests are a problem. I gave it one star off because if you have long haired pets they can get stuck to the pad if it's in reach. Really helps cut down on flies.

This insect trap looks good and does the trick. The light is a nice feature. The insects go right to it. It's not messy at all. I will buy another one for the patio.

I use it in my bedroom where I can now fall asleep knowing I won't wake up all bitten by mosquitoes. It works like a charm attracting bugs and doing all the work for me. I couldn't be happier with this product, it is a bit pricey in my opinion but it's worth every dime. No more bugs flying around in my bedroom, not with STEM plugged into the wall. I couldn't be happier with the results. Give it a try you will say the same thing yourself!

We bought the STEM flying insects light trap because we had a lot of fruit flies in our house. It was very easy to set up and get started. Just peel the paper off both sides of the sticky refill, push it into the base, and plug it in. I have only had it for a little while so I don't know how long it will last before needing a refill but when a fruit fly lands on it, it is definitely stuck.

I opened the package, and began reading the instructions to set up the stem flying insect light trap. The instructions were simple, short, and easy to understand. my only complaint for this trap was that the instructions didn't explain/mention that when you insert the "refill" into the device base, that you should push the refill firmly until it clicks/snaps into the device base. I found this out the hard way, and not knowing that I was supposed to secure it into the base, I had it fall out on me as I was carrying it, to plug it in to a wall outlet. unfortunately for me I was standing over my carpet floor, and the sticky trap though flat on it picking up a bunch of debris and carpet fibers onto the sticky "refill" trap. luckily the refill sticky trap is two-sided, and one side was untouched. other than this one negative incident with the product, I have to say I like what I've seen so far having it only been plugged in for an hour so far. as of checking the Trap a couple of minutes ago I have already discovered a fly and what looks to be a couple of gnats caught in the trap. I also like the blue glowing light panel on the device that is supposed to attract flying insect s.

I currently have animals that I watch while their owners are away, and I can't use just any old insect repellant in good conscience. I like how this product manages to keep flies and mosquitos trapped, and it's clean and effective. Really easy to install. Only downside is it doesn't work too well on flies, but smaller less wild pests are manageable with this product. I'm satisfied.

We really like this trap and have placed it near our deck doors that are open often. I'm always so surprised and pleased with how many little flying bugs this picks up, and it even picks up bigger things like houseflies. It's a little pricey but worth it to not have bugs buzzing around me when I'm cooking and eating. And another great bonus is that this trap makes a nice nightlight for when we wander into the kitchen at night. The blue is very pleasing but not too bright. Must remember to keep refills on hand.|
