This is a plug in insect trap which uses light to attract the insect and a sticky pad to trap it. I like that it's non toxic or has any chemicals involved. It's 100% safe to use in a household. I've set it up in my kitchen next to my fruit area. I wish they added more refills to this starter pack as I'm still uncertain how long a refill lasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this STEM Flying insect light trap set, it goes well with any decor design wise but I feel like this is pretty ineffective for my main concern which is fruit flies. I found it only attracted two total flies over the week I’ve had it plugged in 24/7 and I still had a fruit fly issue. I feel this will do very well for small moths and other light attracted insects just personally didn’t do too well for my particular need. The adhesive is very good quality, thick and a lot of stick to it, I also live that you can grab your old one out without touching any bugs or residue and easily slide in the new one.

It's also attracted some moths that i've never even seen around the room before. Silent, helpful, and deadly (to insects!)

But it's been about 4-5 hours and they seem to just leave it alone. It was easy and fun to install and if the refills are cheap it'll be a staple in my household.

I liked the fact that it is people and pet friendly and doesn't use chemical insecticide and can be used in any room of the house. The product seemed to perform well.

Have an issue with fruit flys and gnats so looking forward to seeing if this will do the trick! Nice sturdy unit that's stays plugged in well. Also has a continuous light on it to attract the insects. I like the fact that it is people and pet friendly.

I don't really like the blue light that emanates at all hours of the day and night. I wish this product had an on/off switch so I could leave it plugged in during the day but turn off the blue light. I think this works well for gnats but it did not work well for mosquitoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The STEM insect trap light seems to work great so far. We live in an area where during the spring and summer months we have a lot of flies and gnats no matter what you do. We have used several products like this in the past and this works pretty much the same. It seems effective at attracting insects and catching them. It has already caught a lot since trying the product. I will definitely continue using it, it's a great addition to any kitchen area that may have a fly issue.

This product is a great alternative to catching any fruit flies or other flying insects in your house without the use of chemicals. We get terrible fruit flies at certain times of the year and this product worked great for that. I also like that it serves as a "night light" and doesn't look like something that catches flies. It also hides the sticky part so you can't see if if you glance at it. Overall, very happy with this product.
