[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for those pesky moths that get inside at night. They are drawn to the light and get stuck immediately. Love that there are no insecticides or chemicals so it's safe around my pets and kids. It's an easy no fuss way to take care of the pesky flying insects.

After a few other failed approaches, I tried this product. Within minutes, it had already trapped several fruit flies. Great product, very effective.

I really liked the stem light trap and it did a great just so far killing all oh the fruit flies that are in my bathroom. I will purchase refills for this.

The Stem flying insect light trap is a great item for anyone with a lot of household plants! I love that the product is chemical free, and uses light and stickiness to capture small bugs like fungus gnats and fruit flies. I also love that the blue light acts like a nightlight and the front panel partially hides seeing any of the trapped bugs, so it actually has a nice design for a room like a kitchen! While this trap hasn't caught bugs for me yet (it's still quite cold out so we don't have many bugs in our house though definitely will in the spring and summer since we leave the back door open sometimes), I have used similar traps that are near identical to this light that were especially effective for small gnats. The only negative is that the product is kind of expensive considering it only comes with one sticky plate, the plates do last a while but I would have liked if it came with an extra refill or two.

This product was ready to set up and use. when pulling off the refill cover, it was slightly difficult. once you have this cover partially off, you need to be sure not to touch the sticky surface. this is a bit difficult if you need to have a tighter grip, have a weak grip, or looking to reposition your grip. overall, it works well. I have mine close to my kitchen to get the tiny flying insects.

I have an issue with fruit flies all year round so this is perfect to have plugged in near my fruit and produce bowl. The night is a nice extra and gives off a soft blue glow. The actual trap is a double sided insert with super strong adhesive. I never used fly paper but imagine it's the same type of material. Once the trap is full, you just toss and refill. There's an opening at the top of the trap to pull out so you're not touching the adhesive so replacement and clean up is a breeze.

It was super simple to set up, but it's much larger than I thought it would be. It looks a bit awkward and would be better suited for outside, but gets the job done.
