It was so easy to put together and the flies are already flying near it. I haven't caught any yet but I think its because I have other lights on. Once I turn the kitchen off for the night I'm sure they will all travel to the trap. The blue tape is really sticky and won't let any bugs fly off. It doesn't have any noise and looks very modern in my updated kitchen!

It lights up blue and is supposed to attract insects to the cartridge. Insects are attracted to. They get stuck on the sticky cartridge. When the cartridge is full of insects it is time to change the cartridge.

My wife and I have a little condo on the ground floor, and we often get flying insects in our home. So we purchased the STEM flying insects light trap, and gave it a whirl. What we first noticed is that the packaging is all high quality and clean looking. The trap comes assembled, all the customer needs to do is peel off the protective paper from the sticky "refill". once that's done, insert it into the trap, and plug it in. that's it! easy to setup. The trap glows blue and is actually pretty attractive. It's completely silent/quiet, which is great, because my wife has very sensitive ears. While we haven't had it active for long, it's already working great! It seems like a product which will work really well for, and keep me from swatting bugs while we watch TV! Great product.

Very easy to just plug in Leon books, a great nightlight and then occasionally when the sticky pads are full, just throw them away and replace them for new ones.

We have tons of small plants inside the house and the small flies are constantly around because of this. Once we started using the light traps, it instantly attracted the flies and has mostly eliminated the problem. We use three light traps around the house and definitely recommend it.

The sticky part is very easy to insert, really no way to mess it up. My picture shows how bright it lights up, which is pretty bright. Honestly great to use at a night light. I haven't caught any fruit flies yet, but I don't usually get many until closer to springtime. I love the concept of this because it is so easy to use but you can also easily see its effectiveness when the flies start to stick. I'm going to put one in my kitchen and garage near the trash bins. It'll be so much easier to just set this & go rather than trying to physically squash the fruitflies. plus, it doubles as a nightlight!
