I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I grow hydroponic veggies and herbs in my kitchen and hydroponic systems are prone to attracting gnats. It was suggested I try a light trap but was hesitant because I did not want something that screamed "I am trying to control bugs". I also did not want chemicals because I want pesticide free veggies. The STEM flying insect trap was the perfect answer. First it looks like a pretty blue nightlight and not a bug trap. It is also chemical free as the blue light attracts insects and the sticky replaceable card traps them. Now I can have insect free and chemical free veggies growing in my kitchen. It is also pet and child safe. The sticky medium is not so sticky that I will have problems extricating it from hair or fur if someone gets too nosy. It is sticky like tape, and not impossibly sticky like other sticky mouse and insect strips.

Setting it up was easy & the UV glow should attract the annoying little bugs that show up at night. It's a pleasant night light too! The removable tray makes maintenance super easy. I mostly appreciate that it's an eco-friendly, pet safe way to have some help with pest control around the house. I'm excited to see how it works out long term!

I love the light on the light trap, so when it is dark in my house, it isn't distracting. I've never used anything inside my house before, but I do have flys sometimes around the kitchen table, so I plugged it in the dining room. I'm hoping for great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. honestly, considering the time of the year, there have not been many flying insects for which this product to capture or deter. I have had it plugged in for at least 2 days and there has been no change to it nor the amount of creepy crawlies with wings in the household so I cannot say whether the product works or not. however, it seems up to date with modern technologies, was easy to install, and isn't a distraction in the room nor an eye sore. one thing I can say for certain though, is that anything that does become lured to the sticky sides, definitely won't be getting away, ask my pinky finger.

It had bugs sticking too it, those pesky house fruit flies. The light attracts the bugs and makes it pet friendly since you're not spraying anything. I am satisfied so far and it is doing what it says it'll do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price on this product is great, and it really does work! Within the first couple of hours it had attracted 4 mosquitoes and with no awful smell. The design is simple and easy to place directly into a socket the light also acts as a night light and the design makes it seem like it’s not a fly trap.

You just pull the paper off of each side of the sticky solution. Slide into plug-in slot, and there you have it. It was not messy. It has a nice, cozy look once plugged in. The trap attracts all types of flying insects. I have mine placed in the kitchen. Easy to dispose of.
