I've used other light traps and they have a slight buzz, this doesn't make any extra sounds and I like that. It works great. The light draws them right in and the bugs are stuck. When it's full it's quick and easy to change. My only downfall is that the paper is kind of difficult to pull off the sticky trap.

The STEM Flying Insect Light Trap began working in no time! The fruit flies were drawn right to it and stuck to the blue sticky trap. This will be a game changer for us. Bonus that both sides are sticky! Much better product than other brands.

The Stem flying insect light trap is exactly what I needed to get rid of a net problem I have. I love the bright blue light and the sticky surface of the product. This for sure will catch any insect that lands on the surface. It has already attracted and caught a few nets so far. I'm excited about this product with high hopes of getting rid of my net problem. I would recommend this product. It's a must buy to get rid of annoying bugs.

You peel the sticky paper off and insert the refill. The refill is very sticky and is great at attracting insects. It gives off a blue light that helps you see when it has attracted the insects. It is small enough that you can use any plug. This is a wonderful product.

This is basically a soft blue light that has a detachable plastic piece that goes behind it with a sticky surface on it. The bugs are supposed to get attracted to the light and then get caught on the sticky surface behind the light. The product costs about $20 give or take. The instructions say to use it in an upright position, but I don't see how that would matter. It also specifically says it is not for use outdoors and not to be used with extension cords or three prong adapters. It is okay to use it 24/7 but it does say you have to refill it every 2 weeks for best performance. I would say given the price and the 2 week duration with potential limited range this may or may not be for you unless you have a very high concentration of flying insects in one area like a bathroom or a garage, but then that sticky sheet is going to get filled up really fast and it's about $10 for a refill so other methods are probably going to end up being better for a longer term solution. It states that it works on food flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and moths. It states that it is people and pet friendly, & insecticide free. Ultimately I would rather use a chemical solution and destroy all the bugs at once then have to grab this messy piece of plastic with them all stuck to it but that's just my personal opinion. I hate bugs and I'm not going to take any shortcuts when it comes to getting rid of them. Your personal choice and feelings may be different. If you have a mild flying insect problem and want to remain chemical free and have extra money to spare this may be the option for you.

It is very easy to set up and change the refill. All you have to do is peel the stickers on the refill and plug it in the device. When it is plugged in there is a small light coming out.

It took me less than 1 minute to put it together and plug it in. It has been out for a half hour, and I already have a pesky fruit fly. I also want to note that the STEM plugin is Pet friendly. We have cats and a dog and are always concerned about the products we bring into the house.

It's super easy to set up, would highly recommend this if you hate sprays like I do.
