I am really interested to see how well this works when it gets warmer and the flying insects really start showing up. The blue background glows nicely in my kitchen where I decided to place the trap. It's great that the sticky surface is on both sides and hidden behind the shield to block the sight of the dead insects.

One thing I like about the Stem Light Trap is that it doesn't use any chemicals at all. It utilizes a simple light to attract flies and gnats. It doesn't trap too many during the day, but at night it works like a charm. I'm happy with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was beyond excited to purchase the stem flying insect trap starter kit as my dog likes to have the sliding door open all day and of course we get all types of flying insects that come into the house. This fly trap works amazing as the glue is very sticky and will trap any Flying insect that it comes in contact with. My only warning is to be careful that you place the sticky trap portion securely on the device as I did not do that and the sticky trap got stuck on my counter and I had to literally yank it off. Definitely recommend if you struggle with flying insects in your home as this is a life changer.

Prior to purchasing this product, I was concerned about the brightness of the light. Thankfully, the light was not too bright and is a nice shade of blue. I look forward to seeing how effective it is at addressing my recent issue with gnats.

All the bugs in our house are always surrounding the lights. This blue light looks great. The insert behind the light is very sticky. I had to pull pretty hard to get the attachments off the sticky parts. I don't see bugs being able to get off of it once on. It's winter now so not a ton of bugs. But spring is just around the corner. I'm excited to see the results to come.
