The trap plugs in the wall outlet, so it can stay out of the way and you don't have to find a place to hang it. I like that the trap is safe for children and pets to be around, so I don't have to worry about hiding it from them.

I am so happy this Stem light trap exists. Anytime I have bananas ripening, these fruit flies just show up. This light trap was super easy to set up and it was working to catch those bugs in no time. Definitely got to buy more of these for my relatives!

Mostly because all they use is an extremely sticky adhesive and light to catch insects, instead of chemicals and insecticides. During the spring and summer months, lots of insects (specifically flies) get in my house. They can be extremely annoying. This light trap catches them effectively (at least half or more) and is safe for my toddler and dog to be around. When pulling off the adhesive, I noticed how thick and sticky it was. There's adhesive on both side of the blue insert. I can't think of any alternative insect killing device that I like more!

It is very neat and does not take lot of space. The amount of fruit flies reduced tremendously after I put this one on. This is the best trap so far for me.

I do really like the color of the light and the ease of putting it together for it to be ready to use. I didn't realize this was going to be utilizing a sticky surface to capture the flying insects as a part of the trapping device so I do worry a bit about my grandchildren seeing the light and being curious and then them getting the sticky stuff all over them or the dead bugs from the sticky surface but so far that hasn't been an issue. Over all if I was rating this on if I would recommend then yes I would simply because it is environmentally safe due to not using any chemicals to lure the insects in and that's a huge weight lifted that I don't have to worry about the grandkids being poisoned and I do really like the ease of use and simplicity of the trapping and killing the flying insects in my home. I would recommend to friend and family.

I plugged this in for 24 hours in the kitchen but it didn't catch it. So I moved it to the garage for those pesky flies and moths. It works like a charm in that location. The light is mild and not overpowering. Great device, but not for kitchen gnats.

A part about the product that I liked is that it was fairly silent so I could easily sleep during the night. Another thing that I like about the product is that it can fit into the corner of any room much like a night light. A part that I would advise is that it might not be able to catch a bug in a single night given the conditions within your room.

It works really well to get rid of any fruit flies if you plug it into a socket somewhere around your kitchen. I've also found it to be effective in catching those little moths that fly in sometimes if you go outside or inside at night when the porch light is on. The light gives off a nice color that is not disturbing in low light settings. However, I do have mine plugged into a smart socket so that when we go to bed, I can turn it off because I can still see the light from my bedroom. If your bedroom does not have a direct view of the kitchen, though, this will not be a problem.
