Now that it's warmer in the south we're in and out of the door more often. I placed this right by my back door and am thrilled with it. It's safe to be around and the blue light is so subtle, but attracts the bugs. I'm very pleased with this and hope to see a greater quality of life this summer.

The light is a perfect way to attract the insects and also serves as a night light for us. The blue piece is very sticky so there is no way the insects can get away. It's also nice they stick to it instead of falling on your counter top like other devices I have purchased in the past.

When first plugged in, the color is a pleasant blue. I plugged it in my kitchen, which is close to the backdoor and a target for all bugs. After a couple of hours, nothing has found its way onto the trap yet, but I also haven't seen any of the flying insects that usually hang around. I'm excited to check in the morning.

My dog sometimes takes a while walking back inside and little flies & mosquitoes get in. This has caught a lot. I guess they really like the light. There's a few stuck on there. I'm definitely loving this so far.

The STEM flying insect light trap is a must now that spring is around the corner. Easy to install, by removing backing, insert and plug the light trap into an outlet. Here in Texas the "daddy long legs" are here and constantly picking them up all over my house. I found after installing the light trap the trap was attracting all these bugs and cut down on my work. I will be buying refills and keeping this around my house this spring.

It works well enough for those pesky fruit flies. It would have been nice to have an on/off switch so you can turn off when not in use instead of plugging and unplugging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I have a lot of indoor plants, I sometimes get many fitting gnats. This fly trap is very easy to use. The starter kit comes with the device and 1 refill. I kept this switched on for 2 days and noticed 1 gnat stuck on the sticky refill. I think I was expecting a lot more, but I will continue using this to see if it catches all the gnats. The blue light isn't too jarring to the eyes and also serves as a night light. The pack says to change the refill every 2 weeks or when it gets filled with insects. I will continue using this and see how effective it is.
