This was extremely easy to install - just plug into the wall and you're good to go. I wanted a pet friendly insect trap and this is perfect. I don't have to worry about my dog getting into any chemicals. The blue light isn't too bright and so far it has been working well.

I really like the pleasant luminescent soft blue lighting that can double as a night light. I also like that it's not noisy like an electric fly zapper and you wouldn't know it was plugged in and active except for the calming light. There was nothing I didn't like about the Stem insect trap but I tested it during the Winter in the S.E. USA and we had no flying insects at the time. I also like that it's very easy to insert the refill traps and I would purchase this Stem product for home use.

I like that fact that traps the insects and I was just thinking of mosquitoes but attracts fíes, gnats, and moths which is amazing. Love that is people and pet friendly and will not have to worried about my fur baby being around. The directions for use was very straight forward and understandable. It is also mess free.

I think it does an ok job of capturing insects, but it mostly caught fruit flies in the 7+ hours that I've had it plugged in. It seems comparable to Raid Essentials' Light Trap. I, however, don't like that you're able to see the bugs that become trapped. Nonetheless, it's still a good product but just needs a bit of improvement in my opinion.

Whenever I get a new plants from a store, there is a good chance that they come with gnat eggs. Once those hatch on my plants they multiply and things get ugly. This Stem light trap is one of the solutions to prevent that. I tired the other product which looks very similar and they all worked pretty well. I will use both and compare which one works better during this spring &summer.

I plugged it in the outlet closest to the back door, which gets a lot of insect traffic because of the porch light. In addition, I have 3 dogs that are herded through that door single file multiple times a day, so lots of time for bugs to come inside and this helps catch them quickly. I like that it has a barrier in front of the sticky refill to keep pets from brushing against it. Though I don't love the light on 24/7, especially when not really needed during the daytime, at least it isn't a glaring red color.

I have tested a couple traps for fruit flies in my home and this one has been my favorite. It's not too bulky, it's perfectly bright, and actually works. It has already caught a couple fruit flies and I put it up today. Get this product for money well spent, especially for any flying critter.
