I often have gnats in my kitchen from opening the back sliding glass door and they are very bothersome. This flying insect trap not only caught several insects very quickly, but it also provided a nice blue night light in my kitchen. I no longer needed the night light that I had been using. The blue glow was very soothing. I like that this method was insecticide-free and that it did not have a bug spray odor. I would recommend this product to friends and family and will purchase refills throughout the entire summer when I am opening and closing the back door often.

It was really easy to open both sides and slide it into the back. Have to make sure you start one side at a time, kinda of sticky but that's what's going to trap the flying bugs. I love the light on it. It acts like a little night light. I put it over were I usually have fruit flies. It seems like it's something that will work.

The light is essentially silent when plugged in, and is quite bright. you really have to have an outlet higher up on the wall in order for it to be effective, but once it's in the right place, the light itself does seem to attract the assorted flying bugs in the room. It looks really nice and d clean plugged in and catches the bugs flying in my house. It doesn't catch them the first day I plug this in, but after a couple of days it has done the trick. No smell, easy to plug in and easy to replace. Might be a tad expensive but mostly worth it.
