I was skeptical at first, but this really does do the trick of trapping various insects like fruit flies and gnats in the house. The blue light is soft and gentle on the eyes without being too bright and yet still works effectively day or night. The sticky surface is like a glue similar to a mouse trap, and the bugs just stick to it in no time! I often get bugs from leftover fruit or plants in my house, and this takes care of that problem. It also looks good in my house on the plug. The installation takes me seconds and I love that I don't have to worry about nasty chemicals or things that might be dangerous to pets. My only disappointment is that for the price of the unit, it would be nice if it came with one or two spare refills. It only has one, and then you must buy the refills separately, which makes it a little expensive in terms of value. Overall, however, I really like this product and would like to have several throughout my house. I definitely recommend it.

You just add the refill and plug it in and it will get rid of your pesky flying insect problem. I use it in my kitchen to get rid of flies. This item uses a light to attract and trap flying insects. This trap does not use insecticides and is safe to use around children and pets. The trap is extremely easy to put together and use. To assemble the trap you just snap the sticky sheet into the slot on the nightlight style base and then plug it into an outlet. The light attracts the insects and they become stuck to the sticky sheet. When the sticky sheet is full you can replace it with a new sticky sheet. This is great for the garage!

The reason I bought this product in the first place is that there are a lot of small flies in the kitchen. The product is very light when I get it, including the socket, the insect trap board and the instruction manual. When using it, just tear off the paper on the board and plug it into the socket, which is very convenient. I have used it for a few hours, but it has not worked yet. Maybe it will work better after one night.
