The light is bright enough to be a nightlight in the dark. It attracts flying insects and they remain hidden behind so you don't have to look at them until it's time to switch the refill out. I wish it came with 2 refills instead of just the one to start it. Still very impressed with the product.

I love that it is people and pet friendly. I actually liked the small amount of light it output to attract insects as it was like a nightlight. We don't have any flies or mosquitoes right now but it did get some fruit flies and gnats it appears. Excited to see how it will work in the summer.
