The shampoo lathers really nicely so it was easy to spread around their fur. Neither of my dogs had fleas or ticks at the time so I am not sure if it would have taken care of that issue. After the bath both of my dogs were really soft. I will continue to use this product especially during the summer months.

The instructions are straight forward but this instructs you to leave it on your dog for 10 minutes. I have to say we were hesitant and didn't know if our dog would cooperate, but she did. Once we had her in the tub, we soaked her down and applied the shampoo. We didn't need much product for it lather up and cover her entire body, probably 4 squirts total. We kept scrubbing the shampoo all over her and she loved it. Once time was up, we rinsed and dried her with no issues. I have to say the smell of this product is fantastic. The smell of the essential oils carried throughout the house. The cedar oil is the one I smelled the most. I have never used a dog shampoo that smells this good. As for the scent that stayed on my dog, it wasn't as intense. The product smell on her was light and she smelled better than before her bath. I'm a fan of essential oils and their benefits. Because if this I would buy this dog shampoo again. I will recommend this product to family and my dog-loving friends.

I used it on my Australian shepherd Daisy since she has sentive skin and long hair. First I loved the smell it was a very fresh minty smell, the shampoo lathered nicely and was easy to rinse out of her long fur. I love that I can give her extra protection from the fleas and ticks since I have alot of trees. The scent is fresh and woodsy due to the cedar wood and rosemary. My dogs take flea meds as I live in Florida and flea meds are essential here, so I can't verify if this shampoo repels fleas and ticks. It smells nice and my dogs coat is very shiny.
