However, if you enjoy sunflower nuts, and give this a chance, you’ll likely be pleasantly satisfied as truely, that’s what it Tastes like….just like mashed sunflowers. Yes it’s different and I wouldn’t compare it to peanut butter persay but if you have a peanut allergy this is a great alternative. Even if you don’t have an allergy, if you just like sunflower nuts, this is a fun alternative. Id like to try the chocolate but unfortunately haven’t been able to find it yet. This is a bit pricey but so are most allergy alternative products….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really didn’t think the children would enjoy this product because it is a little runny compared to a traditional peanut butter. It’s also a little bitter but I served it with a touch of honey and apple slices. Now, I can’t keep enough in the house. Great fall snack with apples, bananas and made as a sunflower seed cookie.

I spread it over bread and also use it as a dip with crackers. It is not as thick as regular peanut butter. So I do not have to stir it before use. I definitely recommend this product.
