We did a lot of research before choosing the Lennon sauna, and the build quality truly stands out. The cedar construction feels durable and well-crafted, and the tongue-and-groove panels fit together seamlessly. Even the roof is heavy-duty, which is important being we live in the midwest with many climate changes.   Inside, it’s surprisingly spacious. Four adults can sit comfortably without feeling crowded. The benches are solid and supportive, and the heat retention is impressive thanks to the thick tempered glass door and tight construction.

This sauna doesn't just work great, it looks gorgeous in the backyard. The wood finish is elegant and feels high-end, and it really makes our outdoor space look so nice. The heat spreads evenly throughout the sauna, and the Wi-Fi heat control make it super easy to get to your preferred temperature fast and consistently. I highly recommend this sauna.

This sauna has become one of our favorite backyard features! The construction was easy and the thicker wood panels and quality craftsmanship are immediately noticeable. It also heats up faster than our friends’ models, so we can relax without a long wait. We’ve trusted Backyard Discovery ever since we bought our gazebo, and they continue to impress. I’ll be honest, I wanted something that felt solid—not one of those flimsy kits—and the Lennon 2–4 Person Sauna delivered. The thick cedar construction makes it feel really sturdy, like it’s built to last, not something I’ll be replacing in a couple years. Once it heats up, it holds temp well and just feels like a quality setup. It also looks sharp. The modern, clean design and glass front give it a high-end feel without being over the top. It fits perfectly in the backyard and doesn’t look cheap at all. Overall, no regrets—solid build, great look, and does exactly what I wanted.

Sauna gets hot fast and performs great for the price. However, you have to work around some quirks with the heater controls. 1. Temperature sensor is not calibrated quite right, and the heater emergency shut off will turn off the heater early if you set it too high (keep is under 176F if it's humid). 2. Arranging the rocks so they touch the metal heater enclosure also usually makes the shut off trigger, so I keep limited rocks only in the center of the heater. 3. If the main power switch isn't reset regularly, sometimes the heater never turns off at the correct temperature, and once again the emergency shut off switch triggers. You have to completely turn off the main power and restart it, which sucks if you're in the middle of a session. 4. It does tend to collect water, so I would turn it on regularly if you have lots of rain or humid weather to avoid mold growth. 5. Wood warps when it gets wet and dries. Sometimes the door doesn't quite fit. For the price, it's outstanding, but don't expect a seemless experience.

I paid to have it assembled and it’s got multiple defects, gaps and the installer is very shady and doesn’t respond to text as he’s not finished the job. It also took 2-3 weeks sitting in boxes getting weathered but it was covered by me. I called Sam’s Club several times which they contacted Backyard Sauna which put a little pressure on the installer and he came out. He gives you a date and time and never shows. His excuse was he had another job. Terrible experience and poor customer service.

I cannot properly review the sauna itself because I have been unable to get it installed despite paying for installation service through Sam’s Club. The sauna was delivered and left sitting in my driveway, but nobody contacted me to schedule installation. I spent over an hour on the phone being bounced between Sam’s Club, Angi, and Backyard Discovery trying to determine who was actually responsible for the install. Eventually I was told that Backyard Discovery assigned the job to a third-party vendor, but nobody could provide me with an installation date or direct scheduling information. Meanwhile, the large crate is still sitting in my driveway creating HOA concerns because it cannot remain there indefinitely. At this point my frustration is not with the sauna product itself, but with the complete lack of coordination and communication regarding the paid installation service. If you purchase this product with installation included, be prepared for possible delays and difficulty getting clear answers on scheduling.

I brought my lennon 4 to 6 person sauna 3 weeks ago.Great sauna,easy installation and it really heats up fast.The temperature went from 64 degrees to 170 degrees in 20 minutes or less.i had a infrared sauna,but this backyard discovery sauna blows the infrared sauna away.i love it and I will use it 3 to 4 times a week.
