As a freshly postpartum mom of two, this box was perfect for still being able to do something special for my husband without the stress of planning or cooking a full meal. The heart-shaped ribeye made the dinner feel thoughtful and romantic, and the sides—potato gratin, asparagus, baguette, and garlic herb butter—paired together really nicely. The food was honestly amazing, simple to prepare, and made our cozy night at home feel meaningful even in this busy season of life. The cheesecake was the perfect sweet ending. I would absolutely buy this again for an easy but special date night at home.

I hate to write a negative review, but this is a waste of money. I now have to go the store to supplement the mediocre food in the box. The desert is the size a child would eat, the butter is for a piece of toast, and the bag of asparagas was cut open.

Meat was terrible. less then 1/2 was edible. fat and tissue. A large piece of thick muscle 1 1/2 in wide down center on one side so I had to cut it off first before searing. Asparagus stringy when cooded aldente. Child portion of potatoes. Bread was the only thing edible.No direction for cooking.

Wanted to make a special dinner for my wife but the meat was discolored and smelled when thawed out. Honestly, I have had trouble trusting Sam’s beef lately as this is the third time I’ve bought steaks, only for them to go bad in a matter of a few days.

Very dissatisfied I sent this to my parents for Valentines Day and was very embarrassed when I got the picture from my mom. The steaks looked like they were all fat and no meat. I am very aware ribeyes have marbling but this was all fat And oddly enough it will not allow me to post my picture of it

If I could have, I would have given no stars. They meat has more fat than meat. Usually, Sam's does better than this-very disappointed. Save your money buy everything yourself! Wish I could get a refund but since it is food probably not. I will have to repurchase the steaks!

Would give it no stars If I could, The potatoes were not sealed whatsoever upon delivery, and the asparagus had a best by date of 1/31/26?? So 2 out of the 5 items in this box are inedible. This wasn’t a cheap thing either. Very disappointing and really a bummer - Also unable to upload the photos kept getting an error message

Disappointed with the quality and delivery. Items arrived on time but the dry ice had evaporated and we immediately were concerned about the safety of the food. The asparagus was 2 weeks past the expiration date on the package. The potatoes had defrosted and were no longer frozen. The bread was old and no longer frozen. Cheese cake was defrosted and soggy. Overall, we changed our dinner menu and threw the meal in the garbage. Extremely disappointed with the package. Will not order any specialty packages from Sam’s again ( we have been members of Sam’s for over 25 years). We have received frozen foods delivered and never been disappointed. Poor execution of the so called premium, specialty product.

We received our love at first bite box the items were still frozen. but the steak package was open along the side and the potatoes we also open, looks as if packages we opened along the side see photos the asparagus was slimy inside the package

Items are not sealed and one had a use by date that was before my order date. To spend close to 100 dollars and have to worry about the safety of the food is unacceptable.
