As a freshly postpartum mom of two, this box was perfect for still being able to do something special for my husband without the stress of planning or cooking a full meal. The heart-shaped ribeye made the dinner feel thoughtful and romantic, and the sides—potato gratin, asparagus, baguette, and garlic herb butter—paired together really nicely. The food was honestly amazing, simple to prepare, and made our cozy night at home feel meaningful even in this busy season of life. The cheesecake was the perfect sweet ending. I would absolutely buy this again for an easy but special date night at home.

The highlights of this meal were the gratin potatoes and the baguette. Unfortunately, the rest was disappointing. The asparagus was soggy and tasted freezer-burned. The ribeye was especially underwhelming ribeye is typically tender, flavorful, and well-marbled, but this one was tough and had an unusual chalky taste. The concept of the meal was great, but the overall quality did not meet expectations.

I really wanted to like this meal, but it was disappointing overall. The steak was actually pretty good, and the bread was decent, though nothing special. Unfortunately, the rest of the box had several issues. The potatoes arrived with the packaging completely open, which wasn't very reassuring. The cheesecakes were missing entirely, even though they were supposed to be included. The asparagus was soggy, unappetizing, and went straight into the trash. On a positive note, the herb butter was tasty—but there was only one serving instead of the two that should have been included. Between the missing dessert, damaged packaging, and poor quality of some of the sides, this wasn't the experience I expected, especially for a meal that's marketed as a complete dinner.

I hate to write a negative review, but this is a waste of money. I now have to go the store to supplement the mediocre food in the box. The desert is the size a child would eat, the butter is for a piece of toast, and the bag of asparagas was cut open.

I ordered just thinking it was going to be a great special dinner. When it arrived, opened the box and nothing but slimy food all hot no dry ice, smeared potatoes, slimy, asparagus, in a bag that had gross coloring in it, and hot meat. I’m still waiting to see my refund. I was talking to some representative from another country. Not sure if it ever finished getting processed, but he was taking freaking forever and was very frustrating. Do not buy. Usually everything I buy at Sam’s is always fine. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review and hopefully my last. Sorry, Sam’s club but this time it was really a big disappointment.

Meat was terrible. less then 1/2 was edible. fat and tissue. A large piece of thick muscle 1 1/2 in wide down center on one side so I had to cut it off first before searing. Asparagus stringy when cooded aldente. Child portion of potatoes. Bread was the only thing edible.No direction for cooking.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My order arrived with soggy, warm food and not a bit of dry ice. They delivered unsafe food to eat! What made it even worse was calling Sam’s Club Online for help. Instead of resolving the issue, the experience only added to my frustration. I’m incredibly disappointed in both the product and my Sam’s customer service experience. Spent a lot of my day trying to get this remedied. If you don’t want to have to deal with their customer service after receiving a product like this, do not buy ! Sam’s do better!!

I read the reviews before ordering. The package arrived a day late, damaged and leaking. So disappointing! Thankfully customer service was able to provides a refund. However, this is such a waste. Attaching photos.

If I could have, I would have given no stars. They meat has more fat than meat. Usually, Sam's does better than this-very disappointed. Save your money buy everything yourself! Wish I could get a refund but since it is food probably not. I will have to repurchase the steaks!

Wanted to make a special dinner for my wife but the meat was discolored and smelled when thawed out. Honestly, I have had trouble trusting Sam’s beef lately as this is the third time I’ve bought steaks, only for them to go bad in a matter of a few days.
