When I opened the can, the liquid inside had a reddish orange color. The corn had some charred pieces which gave off a smoky flavor. It was a little spicy, but not too much. I ate this with rice pilaf, and avocados. The corn complimented the other flavors well. Overall, it was pretty good. I would buy this in the future.

We use Del Monte whole kernel corn for taco bowls, but the Mexican style street corn is even better for that and adds a bit of a kick! Already thinking up new recipes to use this in!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super spicy treat. The corn comes already fire roasted and in spices, so it’s just up to you to finish the product. I choose to follow the directions for “spicy” which meant adding all of the corn and liquid into a pan. The directions suggested the water would evaporate while boiling in about three minutes, but I found it took about ten minutes for all of the liquid to evaporate. I generally like spicy food and found this corn to be quite spicy. I added a sharp cheddar to balance the spice and the combination was delicious!

I didn’t have the cojita cheese to put on top but you don’t even need it. It’s absolutely delicious and it’s not too spicy for my taste. I would absolutely recommend and will be purchasing in the future.
