We ordered and received our Nectar King size mattress and base quickly! Unfortunately, I could tell quickly that the mattress was defective...it didn't inflate right away and had some awkward bend and bumps in the mattress the shouldn't have been there. I called the customer service line after 24 hours to report issue. They were nice, but we were told we had to wait 72 hours before they could do anything. So, sleeping in our guest room for those nights, we called again after 72 hours, were instructed to take pictures while on the phone and they confirmed the mattress was defective and would order us a new one. The new one arrived within a week and it inflated quickly and is great! The problem is that we are left with how to dispose of the defective mattress. We were told to donate, but we cannot find anyone who will accept mattress even though it was never slept on. And it's defective! Overall, the experience, even with the issue was good! Mattress if firmer than expected but we really like it! Would buy from them again.

If folks are looking for what I personally consider a firm bed I highly recommend. I used to sleep on a very firm bed and loved it. But since those times I've got very bad hip and back & leg problems, and it's just too much on the form side for me and my husband.. We have had problems with sagging in the bed as well. We are not large or overweight people. We are currently working with Nectar on replacement beds, and I will update this review after having the replacement for a fair period of time. In the beginning we did have a issue with contacting them and trying to get our point across but we were able to reach someone much more professional and helpful in our situation. So if you do call and have a bad experience give it time and call back to try and get someone else. We almost gave up and threw it on the curb but we gave it another shot and like I said above we are expecting a new bed setup!! But if you are looking for a soft cushy mattress this might not be for you. A medium/firm is a very accurate on the description. I've gotten used to it and find comfort each night. Sleep well everyone!!!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this bed. My previous boxed bed was a great Tuft & Needle but after 10 years, it really lost its support. I wanted something firm in comparison to what I had and i was actually concerned that the definition of the more medium feeling of this mattress would be too soft. It was not! I sleep SO well, it is delightfully, comfortably firm (especially compared to my way too soft older mattress) and I am 100% in love with my bed. I hope everyone else finds as much joy in this mattress as I do every night!!

After sleeping on many different mattresses over the years, this was my first time purchasing my own memory foam. I've been sleeping on it for over two months now and am very impressed. I sleep great. It's comfortable. And it just feels nice. I like a firm mattress and the "6" rating from Nectar makes sense but I feel like the foam gives so much more support that "firmness" isn't really as good of a measurable attribute. I've already convinced one other friend to get one and anytime someone asks me I'll give my two thumbs up. Big fan here and especially for the price considering the cost of the other similar brands out there.

Paid quite a bit for this mattress thinking it would help my back problems caused by my old mattress. I have had it for about a month now and my back has gotten worse. I now suffer from back spasms which I never had before and it has already developed a memory of where I sleep. Most nights I only sleep for an hour maybe 2 before I wake up and have to readjust due to pain. I am 48 and have never had that issue in the past.

After a failed attempt at purchasing a California King bedframe (it literally fell apart) I started researching out platform bedframes and found Nectar's. For the price, the sheer comfort, and sense of pride I get from redeeming my failed attempt, Nectar has me with this bedframe!

I loved my mattress when I first got it, soft, and very very comfortable! I noticed that when my boyfriend was home, that we would end up like leaning towards each other. To make it more understandable, the center of the bed was super soft compared to the outside so the middle dipped. I contacted customer support, and with just a few pictures, they are sending me out a replacement! I hope this one is better, because I do love my bed, but I need to be able to have my space from my boyfriend.

Changed mattress during the holidays hoping for a good night sleep, quite disappointed. Mattress is no where close to firm, extremely soft and you sink if you sleep towards the edge. Definitely cannot sit leaning on headboard as back end sinks badly.

The mattress did not work well for me because it was so poorly supported by the nectar platform base. The slats sagged and eventually fell through the outer frame dropping me down. I am of average weight and was unable to get a refund. The mattress is better now that it is on a base by another company. The mattress does depressed quite a bit when you sit or lay on it.

Replaced an older mattress and had hip and/or back soreness most mornings, although I felt like I slept well. Nectar packaged well, easily set-up, no crazy bad smell at all. From the moment I first lay down on the Nectar, I knew it would "fix" my back and hip soreness. It just felt solid. Maybe a little too solid or more likely I was just used to "sinking into" my bed more (much much more...but in a bad way). I knew the Nectar was going to be good for me, health benefit-wise. First several nights, difficulty sleeping fully through the night, although no hip/back pain, at all! The not sleeping as much was going to be a problem. Gave it some time and still had some difficulty not waking in the night, mattress feels very firm to me. I sleep mostly on side, but end up on stomach at times. So, I ended up purchasing a fairly plush mattress topper (down alternative). I know it may defeat the purpose of a new 'firmer" to me mattress, but it proved to be just the right amount of cushion for me and I've been sleeping well every night since. No back or hip pain, and don't feel like I'm laying on a block of concrete. I actually considered returning the Nectar, but it's "just right" now for me. Temp-wise it's also still perfect even with the topper. I would give 5 stars for the benefits of no hip/back pain, but as a stand-alone for me gets 4 stars as it is slightly too firm for me. It's 5 stars for me now with addition of the topper. Think a back sleeper would be in love with this completely. Hope this review helps...I'd say if it is feeling too firm for you, try adding a mattress topper. It's the best of both worlds!
