Applied after washing my face. It has a nice thin feel going over my face. I did not feel sticky after it was applied. My face felt nicer after applying. Not sure about the sunscreen part. I really like the fact that it absorbed so quickly when applied and it's a matte finish so I can wear underneath my makeup daily. I also like the fact that the Olay Complete is non - comedogenic because it won't make me break out. And I especially like the fact that it's non greasy as well as being mineral oil-free so it works well for everyday use. It feels light and silky on the skin and your skin feels soft all day long as if it can breathe I like the spf 40, I feel confident my skin is protected. It's no longer just for a mature woman. There is a small confusion, is it a sunscreen or moisturizer. The packaging and bottle both claim it's a moisturizer with sunscreen but the directions have you using as a sunscreen. Also is it strictly for the face because if its not then it should be able to be used all over the body. Regardless this is another wonderful product from Olay. I feel this can be used on older kids and adults. Use to think Olay was just for a mature woman, but not anymore. We all can benefit from it
