My first thought was the product has a rich and thick consistency, similar to sunscreen with a mild sunscreen smell. It rubbed in quickly and didn't leave a greasy sheen or residue. I did feel that I put too much on the first time and it "pilled" up a little bit on my skin, but as I've used a bit less I haven't had that issue. It leaves my skin with a soft powdery feeling finish and the sunscreen smell fades fairly quickly. I do like that it has an spf of 30 without feeling like sunscreen.

It goes on fairly smooth and has some good ingredients like niacinamide and vitamin E, but it can feel a bit heavy and stings if it gets near my eyes. I'm not thrilled with some of the chemical sunscreen filters (like homosalate and octocrylene) and preservatives (phenoxyethanol, PEGs) since they aren't the cleanest. Works fine for sun protection, but I'd prefer something with healthier ingredients.

I really love this moisturizer, and I love that it's spf40 instead of the standard spf30. Normally spfs burn around my eyes - I'm quite sensitive and very acne prone. But this one is gentle, and moisturizing without getting nasty and oily, imperative for southeast summers.

I use the Olay Complete the original formula everyday so I was very curious about this new Complete+ SPF 40 product. It feels thicker and I have to apply a little more of product, but there's no white cast and it dries fast (so no yuck feeling on my face). I've been using it for the past week and my skin seems to love it! :))
