Like when I think of the brand this is the exact scent I think of. It left my hair hydrated but not too heavy. Great after conditioning shine that last. I love that the scent stays and you can still smell it after your wash. Great product for such a good value. It's perfect for normal to dry hair with a nice touch of almost perfume like after hair glow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences Smooth Conditioner left my hair feeling softer and shiny and more straight. Normally my hair comes out wavy when it drys. It left a light rose scent, which was not as strong as I remembered when I used this when it first come out many years ago. The amount in this extra large size bottle I felt will last me many months. I did not put 5 stars because it did not do anything for my flyaway hair on the top of my head. There wasn't leftover conditioner build up when rinsing compared to other hair conditioners I have used and I like that it did not weigh down my hair.

It is thick, but i didn't feel like it moisturized my hair or seeped into the strands very deeply at all. My hair was extremely dry and frizzy, even just after my shower.
