[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a bit strong smelling, but not terrible. Also note this is ROSE HIPS, not Rose. So it has a fruity smell more than floral. The consistency is just like most other conditioners. It does seem to tame a bit of the frizz with out weighing down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this Herbal Essences conditioner was enjoyable. It was thinker thank most conditioners that I have used but melted into my strands quickly. I didn't agree with the directions of applying root to tips, I did the opposite and still was pleased with the outcome. It did add the moisture to my hair that it does desperately need from being color treated. I also do love the fragrance. It is a soft floral that isn't too strong nor synthetic smelling.

When I was in college my entire dorm was obsessed with the "pink Herbal Essences" shampoo and conditioner. The smell of it would hit you in the face like a floral scented wall when you opened the dorm door!! I seriously think everyone on my floor used it ha ha! Anyway a few decades later and I had sort of forgotten about it, until now. It was fun to try it, and while it didn't exactly leave me yelling "yes, yes, yes" in the shower, it did leave my hair smooth, tangle free, touchably soft and scented like a teenage dream.
