[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like Herbal Essence shampoo, especially since it checks all of my boxes at first glance. My favorite element of the product is the bottle design! The signature roses visible behind the shampoo is nostalgic, with a fresh/modern take. When I smelled the shampoo, it brought me back to my childhood-clean, floral, and comforting. I love that herbal essence is sticking to its roots while making a few updates such as becoming paraben-free. The actual performance did not match. My hair felt dry and this is not a shampoo I would be able to use without a conditioner. The shampoo took too much moisture out of my hair instead of balancing it. I gave my hair a squeaky clean, feel but not in a good way. My hair lacked volume and shine. The good news is that the scent stayed within my hair for a day and a half. And I didn’t need another wash right away. Overall, I would give this shampoo a 2/5.

I was SUPER excited to get this shampoo and conditioner! The signature intoxicating scent of roses brings back wonderful memories of my teen years, when I used this Daily. I was absolutely obsessed! I love that it leaves that alluring rose scent in my hair Long after I’ve finished showering. I do remember my hair used to get really dry with daily use, so I’ll keep that in mind, but so far after one use, my hair is smooth, silky feeling, and smelling divine!

I loved it then and it’s still a good conditioner! I did this review later than I wanted, so my hair doesn’t look as good as it could while using this product!

This conditioner gives great hydration and makes for easy detangling. I love the pink packaging, just in time for spring. I have 3c hair texture but I believe this conditioner would be great for all hair types.

My hair doesn’t feel like there is any weight to it as well as no residue after. After washing my hair there was no drying feeling, the sufficiency of the product is exceptional.

When rinsing, you feel your hair transformed, much smoother and silkier. In addition, the smell of roses is very authentic and fresh. It is an excellent option if you want your mane to look shiny and with movements.
